@supreme Marvel Yes she did, and she was surprisingly accepting of my attitude. It kinda took the wind out of my sails when she wasn't angry about what I said. DaneWhen I was making my first account on Comicvine, all the cool names I wanted were already taken. So I just decided to string together two cool-sounding words and make a name out of it. I had just created a character I called Nexus, so somehow I ended up with Power Nexus. Then I capitalized the X because of my X-Men fandom. |

Battles forum regulars named "Power" and "Prower". It would be understandable for people to get those names confused once or twice.
I have been confused with NexusOfLight quite a bit more since then. I think some people even thought he was me with a separate account.

My first favorite character was Spider-Man. Some of his older books were the first comics I ever read.

For a while, I considered Retnex to be my rival, but I've hardly seen him at all since we came to CL. Currently, I'd say if there's anyone who's pretty much my equal in debating skill and character knowledge, it would be Matezoide.

@strafe I don't really read very many comics in general (the nearest comic shop worth going to is nearly an hour away). And when I do read, I read pretty much all Marvel. So no.  @k4tz He didn't actually start out as one of my favorite characters. I just knew more about him than most people did, and I was one of the only ones who gave him any respect at all on CV. Since I was constantly the only one defending him in battles, and since he's both superhumanly agile and a major underdog (I have major soft spots for both of those character traits), he just kinda grew on me. |

Sherlock LaforetI have recently learned that some people remember the MS Paint avatars I used to have all the time. I asked on the "What's On Your Mind" thread what I should theme a Paint avatar after. Crom told me to be an emu. @strafe No, I can't say I've ever seen that.
