I dislike this costume and am even more convinced that they chose the wrong actress to play Selina Kyle.

Probably right. I was picturing Hathaway ending up looking sexy but that's not the case at all.

Ann Hathaway is hot. Not the right kind of hot for Selina Kyle. As a world class level hotologist I'm surprised at the lack of discernment on the movie's part.

She is hot, I think she is hot too. I was imagining that maybe she would look great as a really sexy Catwoman, but at least in this picture, that's not the case. If she ends up with a cowl in the movie maybe that will be good, but these night goggles or whatever is not a good look.

You don't think Marion Cotillard is hot?

You don't think Marion Cotillard is hot? Let me put it this way, if I woke up one morning with her in my arms naked, I would not complain ;D Incidentally, she'd have made a more believable catwoman then Hattaway can ever dream.

Agreed on both accounts. Except I would be a bit more enthusiastic about number 1

Except I would be a bit more enthusiastic about number 1 lol, I guess I'm jaded, she's not the hottest thing in Hollywood.

I loved her accent in Inception. What nationality is she?
Edit: She's French.

This movie seems to be a little too packed. Bane, Catwoman, Talia. It sounds reminiscent of Spider-Man 3. One of the major complaints with that movie was too many characters. Same for Iron Man 2 but to a lesser degree.

Same for Iron Man 2 but to a lesser degree. The difference being in Spider-man 3 they were all treated horribly in terms of characterization, minus Harry, who was just horrifically treated visually. Sandman's forced sympathy, Venom's utterly pathetic ATTEMPTS at sympathy (or even the fake-sympathy that the comics have). I'd like to think that Nolan would know how to handle these characters seeing the great work he did with the previous Batman movies, but you never know.

I do not think it looks bad at all. I just have a minor complaint. I wish they made her hair short like it is in the comics now. It seems more practical than a foot of hair trailing behind you when you are a thief.

Hmph, I was hoping for a little more noticeable cat motif but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

If it's any consolation, her design looks better than Bane's.

Visor is still bullshit.
I like the rest, but I agree with Purrps in that I expected more cat motif. But while it doesn't make much sense for Catwoman, the costume does make sense for a cat burglar (more or less), and as such, fits the atmosphere of Nolan's semi-realistic re-imagining of Batman's world.
I'm giving it the official Okay.

Better than Bane's Crossbones motif, and Cotillard's poorly conceiced kimono emulation of Master Splinter.

I think we should spread that. Her name is now, Master Splinter.
It's gonna be a thing!
