First off, what the fuck is this stupid shit? Apparently Thor dies and is replaced by this jerk Tanarus as the new God of Thunder. Yeah, as if The God of Thunder is simply just a title. No. Either way, he is appearing in The Mighty Thor #8 in November.    Bleeding Cool |

Odd, a major death that isn't being hyped to infinity and beyond.
We must be missing something. I find it hard to believe they'd legitimately kill Thor, especially now that he has his own film franchise. I'm sure they want to capitalize on that as much as they can.

I just got through reading Incredible Hulks so when I saw Tanarus, I instantly thought Tyranus, and then I scrolled to the picture and realized I was mistaken. Ah well, should be interesting to say the least. I look forward to reading it. Fraction's been good to the Thor series so I'm not worried at all.

Okay, I like a small amount of Marvel characters. He's one of them.
I hate that they're sticking to this 'a character will die each quarter' thing to get readers. That would turn readers away. If they killed off Danny Rand or Matt Murdock, I'd be pissed. I haven't read Shadowlands yet, but am building up to it. I don't know if he dies at the end or not because I saw, Daredevil reborn or something.
With Thor, all they need to do is what MJS did at the beginning of his tenure.

Also that image of Tanarus is a joke. I haven't really been following Fear itself or anything, but if that's really what the guy looks like, I'm having serious doubts about Fraction's mental capabilities.
