While re-reading a DD issue from the blockbuster arc, I came across an interesting conversation between Kingpin, Typhoid Mary and Mephisto:
Typhoid: You know darling, sweetiepie? You know what they say about evil? They say it can't hurt you. Can't taint you, touch you, harm you. Unless you want it. Unless you let it in.
Kingpin: What is this, Typhoid?
*Mephisto is shown*
Typhoid: HAHAHAHAAH! Oh, baby, don't do that! Hello, Hello! HAHAHAHAHA! I think, Kingpin, that this -- is your boss!
Kingpin: Don't be ridiculous. I have no boss! I am the boss!
Mephisto: No, little boy. You sold us something years ago. A small thing. A tiny soul. An intangible worthless thing -- worthless to you, that is. No, Kingpin, sir. Darling baby sugar Kingpin, sir. HAHAHAHHAHA! You've been working for us for a long time now. But you know that.
So does anyone know when Kingpin sold his soul to Mephisto? Or was this even shown or stated to begin with?

Unless Mephisto speaks metaphorically, about Kingpin "selling" his soul by commiting acts of violence in return for more power, and as a result "empowering" Mephisto, I honestly cannot recall any scene where the Kingpin does such a thing. But I have only read the Daredevil portions of that crossover. However, it rather explicitly states it occurred a long time ago, so I'd say it's Ann Nocenti retconning stuff due to her Mephisto fascination. Thankfully, no one actually cared enough afterwards to take that line literally, or to further consideration.

While that doesn't necessarily seem consistent at all for Kingpin's character, he's shown interest in spiritual connections before (most notably in Shadowland).
Speaking of Inferno, do you recall the name of the demon at a downtown subway whom Daredevil defeated after waking up from his coma?

That was more so a means to an end, though. Nothing to jeopardise him heavily.
Can't say I do. Didn't he beat a variety of demons, though, not just one?

I know, it was just an example to show that Fisk is willing to involve himself with spiritual practices/mystics to maintain power and/or take the initiative over something.
I recall a single, enormous demon taking over the subway up until Daredevil arrived. I initially thought it was Mephisto, but he seemed to have been meeting with Kingpin just prior to that.
