Meh, I already read the book. But now there's purty pictures! I haven't. I started with Contact Harvest and I'm about 3/4ths through. I wanted to go in chronological order, not book order

Meh, I already read the book. But now there's purty pictures! I haven't. I started with Contact Harvest and I'm about 3/4ths through. I wanted to go in chronological order, not book order Man, I hate Contact Harvest, it screws up the Halo cannon horribly.

Man, I hate Contact Harvest, it screws up the Halo cannon horribly. ....Flark. For instance, it has BRs in it(which haven't cannon wise been invented), Brutes(which cannon wise hadn't been brought into the Covenant military) and all kinds of shit like that. It's still a solid book, but don't expect much from it as far as cannon info goes.

Also, I viewed the brutes as the lowest of the ladder, barely even in the Cov (since they pretty much got the hand-me-downs from the elites). Does another book cover at what point in time they're recruited, and in turn, contradict this book (CH)?

(Mostly due to the fact that they're no Halo 2 or 3 books IIRC)
