Agreed. Hopefully, this was a wake-up call to Warner Bros that it's either give a movie your all, or don't bother.
I think we'll find out soon enough. I'm sure we will see a GL2 at some point.
Valid point, sir. Especially when Target is selling blu-rays on their release day for like $22ish + tax. How expensive is a standard movie ticket out there in the San Francisco area? I'm right next to NYC and it's $12, and like $20 for 3D.
Exactly bro. Ticket prices out here are in the same range. I think our local theater is right around $10 for 2D right now and $20 for 3D. I buy almost all of my BluRays at Target on the day they come out and usually get them for $22-$25. I have a large TV (60" Sony) so I'm really not missing that much by not seeing them in the theater and just watching the BluRay. Plus they seem to be coming out very quickly these days after they do leave the theater.
I re-watched X-Men: FC and Thor on blu-ray this week and definitely stand by picking X-Men: FC as my favorite CBM this year.
I bought them both on BluRay the day they came out, but unfortunately the bulb in my main TV went out and I had to order another one for $120! I could watch them in another room, but I want to wait to get the full BluRay experience once I get my TV fixed. For me X-Men First Class and Captain America: The First Avenger are very close to being tied for first as my favorite CBM of the year, but CA gets the edge due to how much that character means to me.
