It is based off the comic. And it looks amazing. Word of mouth is that the first episode was incredible, and really, all of AMC's shows get rave reviews so I don't expect this to be any different. I can't wait-I'm a big fan of the comic, and I'm especially interested in how much of the violence they manage to get in there without censorship.

Simply put, it was amazing. I went in with high hopes and feel that it exceeded my expectations. Can't wait for the next episode.

This should fill me with joy as the comic is my all time favorite series but it actually makes me sad. I can't really remark on how it compares to the comic, because I never really gave it a shot (despite being both a comic and zombie geek). However, I did read the first issue on Image's website after watching the issue. They took everything the first issue did, but expanded on it or altered it to add more drama. But as the start of a series, it was fucking fantastic. As for them not uploading the show, that's lame. Do you have DVR? |
