The following teams are starting over with brand new #1s and it's your duty to fill in the 6 person teams. Who do you pick? Don't be cheap and just give a list. Put thought into this and prove reasons!
Dark Avengers (They must be able to be viewed by the public as a pre-existing Avenger. For example, have Crossbones dressed up as Cap)
Secret Six
Thunderbolts
Sinister Six (must be a character Spider-Man has faced)

Secret Six
Deathstroke: The leader and tactical mind of the team. He leads a fairly loyal set of people. As long as they get paid and have some fun. They're willing to go into battle for him.
Psimon: (In the DCnU, he's hasn't been killed by Joker) His great mind works and compliments Deathstrokes'. He is very useful to Slade with his psychic powers such as Telepathy and Psychokinesis.
Meryln: One of the greatest archers in the world. With a release of his fingers, a person on the other side of the town can be dead. A talent that was picked up by, Slade.
David Cain: A man of many talents. Knowns hundreds of martial arts, expert gunman and trained in espionage. Can always get out of a pickle, ad help his team mates out of one as well.
Livewire: Having many team members that could beat people to death, Slade wanted someone that could bring something new to the team. With her ability to control Electricity, she certainly brought something different to the team.
Shade: Slade, on a mission in England came across a man in which he couldn't place. One minute he was there and the next he was gone. Even to Slade, he had great abilities. Out of them all, Richard Swift was certainly the hardest man to track down and convince to join the team. When things looked bleak, Shade's darkness control makes it work for them.

Just thinking off these. It would be foolish for DC not to hire Greg Ruck and Ed Brubaker and for them to work on a League of Assassins comic series. They could do some many things. Use so many people. Tell so many stories.

Power NeXus' Thunderbolts
Hawkeye (he looked good in the spotlight, leading that team) Radioactive Man (powerful, and one of the few recent Thunderbolts whom I would trust) Kraven (could have potential as a pretty good hero if somebody could get his mind off of Spider-Man) The Wrecking Crew (good, solid muscle. I probably wouldn't need much more than money to gain their alliegances) Cardiac (I'd do anything to pull him out of character limbo. And working as part of a team like this might get him to stop pulling some of that anti-hero crap). Scorpion (Like Kraven, the only reason he's a villian is because of his beef with Parker. If I can get him to forget about that, he could be a nice asset).

Dark Avengers
Frank Simpson-He will be sitting in for Captain America here though he won't be the leader for the team. Nuke's pills will make him an easy to manipulate team member. Bentley Wittman-He will be sitting in for Iron Man and will serve primarily as the techie. The Wizard's vanity will keep him in check. Crusher Creel-He will be sitting in for Thor using Thor's Hammer Mjolnir as his element of choice granting him similar powers to that of Mjolnir. The Absorbing Man is dumb so a box of cheerios will probably keep him in check. Romulus-He will be sitting in for Wolverine and will be leading the team using his various manipulative skills and whatever mental powers he may have. Pete Petruski-He will be sitting in for Spider-man using the Iron Spider-man Armor but loaded with his stuff. He is a gun for hire so money should do the job. William Cross-He will be sitting in for Hawkeye using a crossbow rather than a bow. His feud with Hawkeye, mistrust of superheroes, and desire for monetary gain make him easy to control. Lilith-She will be sitting in for Ms. Marvel but serve as the magical advisor. Her "children" will be forced into HAMMER armor rigged to blow should she betray Romulus. The threat of their extinction should keep her in check but if not Romulus could always make a deal with her.
If needbe, I can elaborate on potential replacements for further Dark Avengers but I think this is enough for now.

Secret Six:
Ra's Al Ghul - He'd be the leader, tactician
Mr. Freeze - He'd be the team's inventor and his weaponary would make him a valuable asset to the team.
Captain Boomerang - He'd be the team's ranged combatant
Lady Shiva - She'd obviously be the martial arts expert of the team
Brick - He'd be the team's tank
Chesire - The assassin
I know these explinations are pretty lousy, but whatever.

I was going to put Constatine Drakon in, but he didn't seem honourable enough.

International Thunderbolts: A group of villains/anti-heroes brought together by the governments of the world to deal with superhuman threats. They are funded by the UN so they can operate anywhere. They are kept in check by inhibitor collars.
Sunfire-Energy manipulator Omega Red-Team brick and assassin. The Gorgon-team leader and genius Sabretooth-Team tracker Sandman-Looking for redemption. Black Spectre-Mentally unstable member.

That's a vicious team, Fury. If Spectre tries to start something with anyone, he's going to get his ass kicked, LOL.

I was going to put Constatine Drakon in, but he didn't seem honourable enough. IMHO he seems like the kind of guy who would do it if the payoff was ample enough.
