By looking a lot like Julie Newmar's costume do actually mean, not at all like Julie Newmar's costume? Hathaway's and Newmar's looking nothing alike. If you would like, I could list out at least 5 differences right away. Why do I have to take into account Catwoman's history? The headgear on Hathaway's costume looks horrible. Are you drunk? Just because Newmar's had that sparkly shit on it does not mean they look nothing alike. There are strong similarities in the style and fit. And what does not fit with Newmar's costume simply draws from other versions. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the current costume other than the heels. |

Heels seem entirely counter-productive for someone sneaking in and out of places or keeping agile, but at the same rate, I doubt that's going to hurt or help my personal overall enjoyment value (as high or low as it may be) of the film.

Exactly my point. Yeah, heels are a completely stupid decision (which we all seem to agree on), but somehow I doubt they'll be the factor that make or BREAK (har har, Bane fanboyism ftw) this movie.

I like it. Heels look silly but I think she looks suitably Catwoman-esque and fitting for Nolan's universe.

Lol, no. That is not even close to the case. The goggles we saw Catwoman wearing in the first official pic that was released are supposed to fold up to look like cat ears. I believe even Hathaway herself said this.

The costume is shit but choosing Anne Hathaway in the first place was an immediate fail.Then again i'm probably the only one who doesn't like Bale as Batman.
