Credit: justjared.buzznet.com/2011/09/24/anne-hathaway-dark-knight-rises-set-with-christian-bale/Anne Hathaway dons her complete Catwoman costume while on the set of The Dark Knight Rises on Saturday (September 24) in Los Angeles.
The 28-year-old actress was joined on set by her co-stars Christian Bale and Gary Oldman.
Before they started filming, the trio stood together while getting their makeup retouched. At one point during the shoot, Anne rested her head on Christian’s shoulder while taking a short break!
Earlier this month, Anne and Christian filmed a scene for the flick during a late night shoot in downtown Los Angeles.Yays, Nays?

The mask looks a bit goofy, but it will likely look a lot better in the finished product. Better than the googles in the previous pictures.
My real complaint is about the high heels, though. I'm sure they're very practical for a cat burglar.

She looks a bit lame if I'm honest.

The mask should've covered her ears as well.

She looks a bit lame if I'm honest. Just about everything I've seen from TDKR looks underwhelming. Every single one of these threads can be summed up by the phrase, "it doesn't really look good, but in Nolan I trust to make it work."

BB worked just as well for me. And while I don't think TDK worked solely because of the Joker, his character was instrumental for the film's success.

That's the point of the phrase. Despite virtually all on-set pics being extremely "eh" to "WHAT?" it's tough to not have some faith in Nolan based on his body of work.

Anyone who thinks Joker should or will be in TDKR needs to stop running around in a purple trench coat and saying "WHY SO SERIOUS!?"

LOL. Yeah, the Joker's story came to a fitting conclusion in the TDK, no need to have him appear in this film, too. If anything, not appearing strengthens his presence in the previous film even further.

I would'nt mind Joker getting his ass kicked by Bane.

Apparently the Joker and a bunch of dogs are a match for Batman, so if Bane is anywhere near his comic book counterpart he should walk over both of them at the same time.

I still think movie magic will make him bigger than the unofficial on-set pictures have shown. The only two official releases of him make him look quite large. The first of him hunched over, the next was the brief over-the-should shot of him lurking towards Batman.

No thanks, that looks bad.
Her goggles doubling as cat ears just looks terrible. This is one of those scenarios where CBM filmmakers purposely make a change to make it 'more realistic' or 'less stupid looking' but then try to do something for a fan service, and it ends up being dumb or looking dumb.
It is not understandable why if someone were to go through the trouble of wearing a skin tight suit, high heels, and a mask (and probably have an affinity for felines), they wouldn't just go ahead and wear cat ears or a cowl (so her long hair wouldn't get in the way). This person obviously is crazy already, so why is it so unrealistic they would actually wear a cowl or cat ears? It actually seems more practical and realistic.
I have spoken.

Her costume looks a lot like Julie Newmar's Catwoman. Which I honestly do not have too much of a problem with except that Catwoman has grown into a surprisingly practical villain/anti-hero in the last decade. The suit just does not work as much for relating her to the Catwoman of today. More like the Catwoman of the 90s. Though I do not think it has nearly as much fan service as Michelle Pheiffer's Catwoman. I mean come on, that was done purely for the 13 year old erections. In fact, the style of her current comic reminds me a bit of Pheiffer's performance. And no one on this planet can say that any of these hold a candle of crap up to Halle Berry's Catwoman. Soooooo before we start ragging on her suit, I think it is important to consider the entire history of Catwoman. Should it be more like her suit was 6 months ago? Yeah sure. But it could be much much worse.

By looking a lot like Julie Newmar's costume do actually mean, not at all like Julie Newmar's costume? Hathaway's and Newmar's looking nothing alike.
If you would like, I could list out at least 5 differences right away.
Why do I have to take into account Catwoman's history? The headgear on Hathaway's costume looks horrible.
