And for the record, the Weaponer is basically Ord for the Green Lantern Corps (thought you'd apprciate the metaphor). He defeated Kyle Rayner, John Stewart, Hannu, Soranik and even Ganthet simultaneously, before Sinestro beat him down.

One thing though, are you sure Soranik's mother is Arin Sur? I don't think that's ever mentioned in the comics themselves. I figure it was some other woman Sinestro fell in love and had a daughter with. One that's his own species and all.

You're partially responsible for reinforcing that belief due to leting me know about Mongul's fight with Atrocitus. Kind of hard to believe an inarguably superior ring-slinger would do worse than that.

I thought about it, but while you're right, and it has not been clearly stated, I always believed Sinestro was more so "once in a lifetime" kind of person. If he had his daughter and wife on Korugar, it's hard to imagine he'd simultaneously (or, later on) find Arin, and fall in love with her. Similarly, I cannot imagine Sinestro falling in love, or marrying after Arin's death, which seemingly shattered him, and positively was the one person he loved far and away any other.

As for not being from his home planet, well, the skin tones are similar, and the GLC story sufficiently obscurs the woman's face, just in case.

Dunno. It seems strange that Sinestro would forego of his daughter while patrolling Korugar (since she was admittedly lost to him for years), and go fall in love and such in the meantime. Obviously possible, but odd.
