Well, I dropped a lot of titles. Here's what made the cut:
Marvel:
Uncanny X-Force X-Men Legacy Generation Hope X-23 New Mutants
DC:
Green Lantern Green Lantern Corps Justice League Justice League Dark GL: New Guardians Teen Titans Deathstroke Batman
Dark Horse:
SW: Dark Times SW: Invasion

Oh yeah, and New Mutants - purely for X-Man.

Wow. Why did Generation Hope make the cut? That is probably one of the worst X-titles out right now and I love Hope.

For me, Uncanny X-Men is the worst (Land did not help). I dropped it after the "mutant flu" BS; I rolled my eyes and never looked back. I don't know why, but I actually like Gen. Hope, despite my affinity for all things dark and serious. It's my "relaxation" title, even though it's getting slightly darker now.
I am only reading New Mutants for X-Man. Aside from that, I couldn't give a crap about most of their roster. Dani is okay, I'm warming up to Magik, and I always disliked Cannonball. Nate leaves, so do I.
PS: Ah! Forgot to put down X-23, which is actually pretty good.

I like Magma. New Mutants is a pretty good title. In my opinion, it is a higher quality than Generation Hope, but that is just my opinion.

Glad to see Uncanny X-Force and X-23 made the cut. Those are 2 of my favorite titles.

What SHOULD have made the cut is X-Factor.

What's up with the new Aquaman fandom k4tz? You've never been much of a DC guy or a way-above-street-level guy.

I've been like 95% DC since The New 52 launched, silly. And, I'm trying to read anything that remotely peaks my interest. So, that inclcuded Aquaman, Superman, etc.

What SHOULD have made the cut is X-Factor. Everyone keeps telling me that. But it just seems so... boring.

Sure they do not use popular characters but the way they are written and developed here makes them have so much more depth than any other X-book out there. Besides, if you do not enjoy the humor that is in the series and if you do not immediately fall in love with M, you have no soul.

Give me a suggestion for a good X-Factor trade, and I might look into it. Uncanny X-Force is probably my favorite current title, though. I can't speak for DC yet, since they only just started,

I'm so behind on my X-men reading. It seems like every time I take a little break from them, so much stuff comes out that I get discouraged and drop it until I run out of other things to read and decide to re-read through the X-titles just to catch up. Then again, it was a lot easier when I had ample amounts of free time. Maybe I should quit life and become a comic bum again.

I can't speak for DC yet, since they only just started, Honestly for me, the big moment that sucked me in was the first few arcs. So I would say start from numero uno. It is hard to give a suggestion at some random spot in the middle because there are a lot of connections made during the series that might leave someone's head spinning if you have no idea what is going on. It is not overly complex, it just has a lot of story in so little issues.
