As the title says, which writers do you think get the most hate out there? Do you think that it is justified or do you disagree?

Jeph Loeb and Chuck Austen gets lots of hate, as does Bendis. I think it's partially justified/justified for the first two, respectively, but not so for Bendis. Fraction is likely under the same category as Bendis.

Yeah, Fraction seems to be getting a lot of hate especially recently. A friend of mine from CV who is a Thor fan pretty much wants to kill him lol

Uncanny X-Men readers apparently shared the sentiment.

Dwayn McDuffie: For obvious reasons. What's a power level? Not sure if you saw, but xdem posted a link for this in Tasky vs Deathstroke: His response to a question about the Surfer/BP encounter:

Uh, Rob Liefeld anyone? I know I'm beating on a dead horse here, but 10 posts and not even a mention of the master?

Leifeld is mostly hated for his art, not his writing.

I've read the entire comic, and consider myself to have pretty good reading comprehension, and I still think that move was utter crap. I'm pretty sure Surfer could have found out what they were up to without loosing his dignity. Furthermore, I'm really not sure because it's been a while and I don't have the comic now, but I'm pretty sure the Surfer didn't give a crap about what the FF were up to, and was only kinda holding back due to previous friendship.

He said he was interested in what T'Challa had to say, but I have to confess I didn't notice him being irritated, nor did the scene insinuate that he was holding back for that particular reason. On top of it, McDuffie seems to contradict himself, since T'Challa was not knocked out - he was playing possum. Unless he was KOed for half a page or something.
The Surfer holding back and whatnot was much more clearly mentioned in an issue or two, though, but the explanation for the scene in question from that link seems more like something that was thought up after the complaints started piling up, as opposed to the initial intention, or the original intention was simply not conveyed nearly as well as it should have. Either/or.

Either/or. Yeah, that sounds familiar. I think the most obvious explanation is that McDuffie was there just as a filler between Civil War and Millar's run and knew it, and subsequently didn't really think it through as he could have. Of course that doesn't excuse his other messes. Poison Ivy taking down Green Lantern, sure. Yeah, I've read an odd issue here and there. In particular one 'homage' to Jack Kirby which featured him as huge gun totting poor man's Cable fighting what appeared to be a rip-off of Darkseid. Made me puke. He may get flak for his art more, but his writing and concepts are just as bad. He may not have started the whole 'darker and edgier' trend in the industry (Much better writers are responsible for that), but he was certainly the trend's purest and greatest expression, and I mean that in the worst way possible.

McDuffie doesn't get as much hate as he should. It's not like he'll get more hated since he's not with us any more.
