So yeah. Anyone play this game? I tried it the other day and was not impressed at all.

Heard about it. Thought about getting into it. Never got around to it.
Probably never will now.

It is just a lot of little things really. The character customization is completely awesome but the graphics leave much to be desired and I do not like the cell shading type look to the characters as much. It seems more cartoonish than I would like. I think the idea was to go for a "comic book look" with it but DCUO does not do it and it looks amazing comparatively.
Then the voice acting and scripts for them is terrible. It is not just comic book bad, it is 80s comic book bad. In DCUO the only terrible lines I hear are from Oracle and even then, the voice acting is superior.
Then the controls and combat style and clunky and power selection is so limited in Champions. Static prefers Champions over DCUO but for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.
The only thing Champions has over DCUO is customization.

Well if you're going to do a super hero game customization is important.

That is very true. But aside from being able to make a toon that looked just like me and some tasty treat with a disappointingly small bust at max slider, my enjoyment was almost non-existent.
In closing, they really should have made the max bust Power Girl sized. That would have kept me around maybe.
