DC: Crisis on Evil Earth
Just to get this out of the way, this scenario takes place in an alternate DC universe that is similar to the Pre-Reboot DCU.
Story bits:
The Spectre appears before you in a burst of green light. His eyes glow green as his voice speaks in your mind, "Faithful Ledger, I come to you with a mission!"
You look startled but you recognize him and say, "R U teh Sp3ctrez?"
"Indeed, will you work with me to save a fledgling universe!"
"OMG, like is this one of those awesome scenario threads?"
"No, I do not understand your meaning."
"I am so in, so what are the rules?"
"Rules?"
"Scenarios always have rules like who I can have on my team and
such."
"You must build a team from the ranks of this fledgling universe's populace."
"So who are they?"
"Imagine a world where all the good that you know never came to be."
"So only villains? Okay, which universe are we talking about?"
"Your world views it as the DC Comics universe."
"DC? I don't know DC all too well can we do Marvel instead."
"No, this universe closely mirrors DC of which I am also a member."
"So, what am I up against?"
"You will have to thwart the dreaded Anti-Monitor."
"Shit son, the Anti-Monitor? So no limits?"
"Only that which you may convince to join you."
"What do you mean?"
"You must, through whatever means available to you, move your team to action."
"Do I get any powers to do that?"
"I suppose I could allow you the aid of one hero in bringing your team together."
"Can it be from anywhere?"
"Why not, I am God's wrath and all that."
Scenario:
The Anti-Monitor is gearing up to consume a universe. You have been charged with preventing that through bringing together a justice league of sorts. This particular version of the DC universe has no heroes, all of them do not exist here nor do the things that created them. So no OA, no Paradise Island, no Speed Force, no Krypton, etc,. You must explain first how you would convince the villains of this universe to join your team and then how your team together would take down the Anti-Monitor. You get to use one Hero/Anti-Hero from any universe to help you do it. You may use any means you deem necessary but you may not simply use telepathy to mind control them. You may on the other hand manipulate anyone around them.
Rules:
You must come up a with a reasonable means of convincing the villains you want to join your team.
Keep in mind that there are no good guys to stop them from just attacking or betraying you so I would avoid pissing off the possibly psychotic people you are attempting to recruit.
Your heroic/anti-heroic ally may be no more powerful than Superman and can come from anywhere.
You cannot use mind control on your intended team members.
Try to keep it limited to 10 people but this is more of a challenge.
I have noticed that people love the shit out of building teams but not so much the completing the scenario. So, this is an attempt to make building the team, the scenario. Let me know what you think. Any questions, you know what to do.
