I was going to use current versions but that might not be a good idea. Maybe I'll just use strongest versions. What say you?

except Dr. Strange and Constantine who get 10 mins. Until I got to there I was going to say it comes down to either of these two . With all the others having an hour Prep I'd say it's a four way race between Hunter, Fate, Darkness or the Doctor. Dresden has a shot on some showings. Too damn hard to call without knowing versions.

Fate I think, current version of Strange really isn't the strong I hear and Hunter's current version isn't really the super-powerful future version

Kent V has gotten by a lot on the Rep from former Fate's and hadn't shown to be that great prior to the Darkness engine saga (where he went off to learn how to open himself to the knowledge of the helm). Since then the potential is there that he should be at Hector or close to classic level but it was never really shown before Flashpoint. I mean the main reason for his lower showings was his inexperience which would be fixed by the helm being a "magic library" that imparts the knowledge the user needs, but I just haven't seen anything other than that single showing in Reign in Hell against Lady Blaze to support it ( which IIRC is actually before darkness engine anyway). And even in that series he couldn't get their collective @$$es out of hell.

I honestly don't know much about Kent V I'm just working on the assumption that with how downgraded Strange has become, he's pretty much the most powerful mystic here.
most of the others are of variable weight classes and some don't stand a chance at all/

I'm just questioning whether he's up to the challenge in terms of experience, knowledge to support the power.

My concern is that even if he doesn't have greater knowledge if his raw power is so immense he can just wipe them out with a simple application of power, then he might not need the knowledge to beat them.

That's a fair enough point. The showing in Reign in Hell against Lady Blaze probably supports that. I mean that was in hell at a time that her and her brother had control of most of it, so if anything she should have been a lot more powerful than him.

Indeed, which is why, unless I read a fair argument for another contestant. For now I'll stand by Fate as the winner.

So does everyone think fate is too strong to be here?
