credit: spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2012/07/31/arrow-taks-aim-at-deadshot/Michael Rowe Mere days after Arrow star Stephen Amell teased that Oliver Queen will face Deadshot in the third episode of the series, The CW has announced who will play the classic DC Comics villain.
According to TV Guide, Canadian actor Michael Rowe will debut as the expert marksman in the appropriately titled ¡°The Lone Gunman,¡± joining a rogues gallery that includes China White and the promise of Deathstroke.
¡°Deadshot doesn¡¯t speak much, so he has to have that physicality,¡± executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells the website. ¡°And Michael certainly has that. He has that look.¡±
Introduced in 1950¡äs Batman #59, Floyd Lawton ¡ª the hired assassin who boasts that he never misses ¡ª is best known in recent years for his prominent roles in DC¡¯s Suicide Squad and Secret Six. Deadshot has appeared in animated form on Justice League, Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and was portrayed in the final season of The CW¡¯s Smallville by Bradley Stryker.
Developed by Guggenheim, his Green Lantern collaborator Greg Berlanti and Fringe co-executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, Arrow centers on Oliver Queen, a wealthy young bad boy who, after spending five years shipwrecked on an island, returns to Starling City with a mastery of the bow and a determination to make a difference.
The series premieres Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

I was going to say that Crom shouldn't be so certain because they actually gave both Hawkman and Star spangled kid of JSA a bigger set of balls in Smallville. THEN I read Jake's opener and saw that Guggenhiem's the executive Producer. If anyone can f#$% up the characters it's him. He certainly managed to do so for almost every single member of the JSA during his run. K4tz, if I were you I'd consider waiting until you hear some reviews before watching, It might devastate you.
