Erik-El:...... I was just explaining my example. I know that Steve can not hurt him with his fists, but if we have an occasion where the writer makes him able to hurt him with both his fists and the shield. Will i call the whole fight PIS, because i can not chose which parts makes and which does not? .............................. Do you understand that your "example" is completely incomparable to the DD feat right? Everything about the barbell is sloppy writing. Steve hurting Hulk with the shield is not. Nothing else matters because nothing else is ever implied to be able to happen. At first you have told me that not only one part of a feat is PIS but the whole feat is. So i brought up my own example with cap. Saying that the feat with the barbell being sloppy has nothing to do with the reason i brought up that example.

You are the only one that said it was partial PIS. YOU. I have said the entire time that everything about that reference is sloppy writing. I even told you there is no such thing as partial PIS. Do not try to make your argument mine.

You misunderstood my point. When i said that you told me that not only one part of the feat is pis, but the whole thing i basically meant this "I even told you there is no such thing as partial PIS" I know i'm the one that i said that it was partial PIS and that's why i gave the example with cap. To show that there are partial PIS.

Beat- thanks for the info but I assume for dc characters only post crisis feats are being considered. And are you talking about captain marvel? Creator- well you have classic hulk at a calm state listed, and a wwh hulk listed. I figured there would be a classic hulk angry ranking. So is that all we need now to determine strength? Just matching someone in combat without needing feats? I thought we held our rankings tona higher standard than just that. Every other character requires feats but black Adam and capt marvel do not? Yeah Captain Marvel (and the rest of the marvel family. they all have the same power level but when for example two are powered it drops as they draw the same power, that's why I specified the others were powered) Also I forgot a feat of WW and Cap arm wrestling. The both strain and sweat with o movement for a bit (while the god's watch). Not sure how valid the feat is as based on Cap's thought balloon he takes a dive.

Hmmm.... Was WW shown to have Hercules level strength by that time?

Hmmm.... Was WW shown to have Hercules level strength by that time? Like I said, not sure how valid a feat it was as Cap thinks "hope this works". so it could be a total set up by both of them for whatever reason. That was why I didn't mention it in my original rely to Ckal. I wasn't following WW around that time (late 90's) so you be the judge of her level.

Anybody got a idea where Sentry should be?
Majestic rank 27? I think he did rearrange the solar system.

Brick scans on page 5.
Erik - you think 1 ton? Creator - what do you think?

I would say 1 ton but he did lift and move that car aside with relative ease. I might be inclined to say 2.

beat- Hmm. Well it seems Cap's feats so far are just 'matching' others who have feats. Mind you I am not knoledgeable at all on BA or CM, but it seems neither of them have many strength feats outside of 'matching' someone.

I'm sure there are more feats Ckal (not that carrying a shuttle or pushing Meteors are compaison feats). Those I mentioned were from just 5 issues of POS that I flicked through. If I get time I'll go through a dozen or so more 2nite.
I do think with the Marvels we need 3 rankings. 1 when they're the only one powered by shazam, 2nd when 2 etc

As of now, I'd like to put Superior up there for rank 16 on the strength list. Any objections?

Brick scans on page 5. Erik - you think 1 ton? Creator - what do you think? I would put him above the 2 tonne catagory. He not obly lifts the car up but in the next small panel he is shown to have swung it out the way with it completely off the ground. So overall in Rank 7.

Mind you I am not knoledgeable at all on BA or CM, but it seems neither of them have many strength feats outside of 'matching' someone. OK after flipping through a few more issues in the POS issue that Superman guest stars in Cap carries an airliner that's being throw around by cyclonic winds safely to ground. In the following issue he carries an ocean liner to land after it's been torpedoed. Mary has carried cars and trucks. Caught armored cars thrown at her. Cap Jr has done many of the same, torn vault doors like paper. When he punched Captain Nazi it threw him across the city. Many of these feats are when one of the other Marvel's fly into the scene, so technically without being taxed (aside from the arm wrestle with WW I've seen nothing that would indicate thew were even under strain) these feats are all therefore below 1/2 or 1/3 power level.

As of now, I'd like to put Superior up there for rank 16 on the strength list. Any objections? Have we got any feats for him ? Yeah, most of them are found in his third issue. He effortlessly stopped the International Space Station from falling to earth and gently set it down. There was a meltdown at the Pennsylvania Power Station that he stopped by picking up one of those tuby things and flying it away before it could blow up. He stopped a train standing in front of it. He picked up an ambulance and flew it to the hospital so the people inside it wouldn't have to wait through a traffic jam, and so far his biggest feat of strength was tugging a Canadian submarine underwater for twenty minutes all the way to Long Island beach. It wore him out because he was complaining about wanting a soda afterwards, so I'm thinking his max strength should be around 16 since submerged submarines and after looking at Wikipedia, most Canadian submarines average around 2000 tons. So that should put him in the meta human range. At least low meta.
