Speed is just distance over time, Zoom controls the bottom side of the equation. He is still super fast while using his time manipulation and should be class 30 for running. Without his time manipulation, he would have average human in a wheelchair speed. His speed is simply incalculable because he can always up his speed infinitely

Time manipulation =/= speed. Just the appearance of speed.

Time Manipulation just gives Zoom control over the bottom half of the Speed equation. If he starts at point A and moves to point B and it takes him 1 second in objective time to do so then his speed is the square root of (A - B) squared over 1. It may not be Speed force speed but it is still speed.

Is there going to be a reaction speed grid? Or would it go into this one? There will be a seperate Reaction SPeed grid. I will post in the next batch of 4 grids.

Is there any character that's actually faster than Silver Surfer? creator- Btw, Teleportation and Tunneling are both designated with a 'T' Posting altered accordingly.

BTW, If scans are needed, they can be given.

From what I understand, Zoom is inherently not fast. He is able to alter/slow time to make him appear fast. Yes, technically he only manipulates time. But for all intents and purposes this translates into serious speed. Creator I'm interested, how did you get the 1,000,000c figure for the Surfer. A guy who goes across the universe to find find habitable planets, I'd figure he was faster than that on full burn.

His speed is simply incalculable because he can always up his speed infinitely So for all intents his ability to manipulate time permits him to duplicate some super speedster powers but to an absurd level so effectively we can rank him as a 29 I would suggest since I don't think he is as fast as say true cosmic power houses i.e. Living Tribunal.

Right. The only example I can think of that gives even a vague calc of his speed is the "Seconds later, lightyears away" scan from Annihilation.

Robotman (Robert Crane and Cliff Steele) -6
Commander Steel - 6
Hourman - 6 All around 60 to 70 MPH
Jesse and Johnny Quick 22 or 23 (again creator depends on whether the stated speed per level is the peak or where the level starts, I don't see either being 5X light speed but faster than light yes)
Max Mercury 23 or 24 (one above wherever the Quick's sit)
Members of Red/Blue Trinity - 12

I think I need to make the table clearer. Rank 28 speed actually does not meean that he can fly 1,000,000 Light Years in 1 year, but cover than in 1 hour. So at top speed he can cover 277 light years per second. I will change the speed figure column to reflect this.

Rank 11 covers anything above 761, up to 1,522 mph (mach 2).

So Johnny and Jesse are 23 Max 24 and the rest where I said (red and Blue trinity just like Wally back then were only super sonic speedsters)

Green Lanterns (and other lanterns) should be in the same category, since they patrol the universe and all.

Time Manipulation just gives Zoom control over the bottom half of the Speed equation. If he starts at point A and moves to point B and it takes him 1 second in objective time to do so then his speed is the square root of (A - B) squared over 1. It may not be Speed force speed but it is still speed. What is Bishop's speed since he can travel time and space? Or Cable and Deadpool who have control over the top half of the equation? Zoom, just like those listed above, can only simulate speed. This is the same reason I do not like that teleporters get ranked at max speed just because of their ability to teleport. It is a cop out and no speed is actually implemented.

You got me thinking about the Surfers speed and actually I think now potentially he should be down graded to a rank 27. The reasoning is that at that rank he can still travel a light year every 3 seconds and that comfortably fits in with the quote. Thoughts ?
