I don't think Vision is as fast as Iron Man, The only speed feat I recall is his catching up to a jet that Grendel took over. He did it with ease. Old Vision did not really have means of locomotion as he went immaterial (mostly) to float / glide along. Like I said, I would put him at maybe Mach 1 as max based on that one feat. The only other time I was ever impressed by his speed was in his fight with Count Nefaria (He was apart of an Avengers team that fought him)

With all this talk of teleporting, I just wanna point out that Pip the Troll is the best.

You got me thinking about the Surfers speed and actually I think now potentially he should be down graded to a rank 27. The reasoning is that at that rank he can still travel a light year every 3 seconds and that comfortably fits in with the quote. Thoughts ? I don't see why not, until someone (Morph) can provide a greater feat.

I would think that Kryptonians in general would be at least 23, maybe 24 with experience. Doomsday I would put at 24. Martian Manhunter should probably be at least 23 if not 24. No way. Martian Manhunter has explicitly stated that he is not as fast as Superman or Wonder woman. I'm thinking 20, 21. Maybe even 19. Doomsday is not a 20XFTLer by a long shot. I don't think he's an FTLer at all. His traditional speed was mach 5? He may have gotten a boost lately. The best feat of his I can recall is going from southern China to Indonesia and back in two panels (couple of seconds).

Also, depending on the interpretation, Black Adam's running speed is either mach 500 or close to light speed, putting him from 17 to 21.

I don't thin he's an FTLer at all. Quicksilver's powers have fluctuated a lot. Where do we rank him?His traditional speed was mach 5? He may have gotten a boost lately. The best feat of his I can recall is going from southern China to Indonesia and back in two panels (couple of seconds). Funny thing about that is that he has better travel speed feats than Wonder Woman and has matched Superman's combat speed before. He has flown FTL more than once, such as when he flew to the sun from Mars in the time it took for him to utter a few sentences or when he flew to Naftali, which according to Takion's solo series is over 600 lightyears away. And by the way, he said he was not as fast as Superman or Flash, not Wonder Woman.

Also what is the point of using a man who CANNOT teleport as a basis for your argument on how teleportation works? Furthermore DD sensing a teleport does not mean time occurred between the teleportation. It could be as simple as Nightcrawler's intent to teleport created the appropriate pressure change for his portals. The actual teleportation still is instant. All his teleport showings depict this. Well the simpliest answer is to provide a grid of distances and characters get a rank based on how far they can teleport in 1 hop. Thoughts ?

So that put hims at the High Superhuman rank of 13. More people to rank: Red Tornado The Top Whirlwind Riptide Starfire Adam Strange both via Jetpack and via Zeta Beam. How do we rank people who draw power from other things? I am talking people like Amazo or Animal Man or Vixen etc. Is Vixen's max speed that of a cheetah? Is Amazo at Flash Levels? I would quote Amazo / Vixen twice (standard speed and max speed). Can you suggest figures for the others based on some feats ?

Northstar and Aurora should be at at least 22. I thought that not get near their max speed - 99% the speed of light - due to wind resistance and air friction. So they were limited to mach 10 (or maybe higher now) ?

His traditional speed was mach 5? He may have gotten a boost lately. The best feat of his I can recall is going from southern China to Indonesia and back in two panels (couple of seconds). That would be aound 2700 miles in 12 sections (6 secs per panel). So basically that is 225 miles per second. Or in other words 810,000 mph. I think we need some more info on Quicksilver. Was this the feat where in the Avengers he ran off and returned with Dr Banner ? If not, we might be able to draw more info in from his other appearances. For now, considering this, I'll put him in at rank 13 until we get a definative answer.

I would like to chalk that to acceptable breaks from reality for story's sake. I would put it in the same bin as the ending to Infinite Crisis, where Supermen 1 and 2 grab Superboy Prime and drag him all the way to Krypton, 2 million lightyears away as per Birthright, in just a few seconds/minutes, at speeds even Green Lanterns have trouble matching. I don't think anyone in their right minds would argue that Superman is actually, consistently capable of such speeds, and I would hold the same true for MM. Likewise with the Sun to Mars feat, "A few sentences" is a very poor way to judge time. If we took it for granted, even Iron Man would be a light speeder. Granted I'm being a bit hypocritical since I'm using a similar feat for Quicksilver, but honestly, MM has never really struck me as an amazingly fast character. And I've read through all of his run by Ostrander. I stand corrected. It's been a while.

No, this is from Mighty Avengers, where he has some sort of a freak out reflex upon seeing the Unspoken, runs away to Indonesia before he can get the impulse under control and run back. The region is specifically Tibet.

Well based on the Quicksilver feat, that would put him firmly in to Rank 18.
I have updated the list above.

Because you're just asking for it now. Seriously though, I have several scans of travel, combat, and reaction feats by him that match many of Superman and Wonder Woman's. Another example of him traveling faster than light was in Justice League Task Force. He kept in step with the ship that the JLTF was using as it traveled 7 or 8 times the speed of light and maintained paced with it for a little while. He has traveled to each continent to destroy White Martian towers so fast that he seemed to smash through three of them simultaneously in Terror Incognita. He has flown to different locations around the world and out of earth's atmosphere in a few panels in his 1988 miniseries. He has blitzed multiple ships in rapid succession fast enough that they all seemed to explode at once in Martian Manhunter Special. He has flown from the moon to earth while fighting Despero in large arcs during Crisis of Conscience. He has flown in front of a close-ranged blast to protect Kyle in World War III. He has flown in front of bullets fired at another character a fairly long distance from him. He has flown in front of a psychic blast to protect another Martian. He has flown from earth to Mars in a few panels. He has flown from the moon out into deep space in a single panel. I could go on. Vuviper hardly ever posts here, which means I am the resident Martian Manhunter expert. Beware my knowledge.

Wonder Woman has the speed of Hermes in both flight and in reaction and movement speed. How fast is that? It is never stated but implied to be really damn fast.
