Also, depending on the interpretation, Black Adam's running speed is either mach 500 or close to light speed, putting him from 17 to 21. In an issue of JSA, I cant remember what was going on, but I remember Jay Garrick asking Black Adam for his speed, with his speed he could go light speed, or beyond. It was one of them. And that was running. I'm partially certain. If someone could find that issue, or scan of them. It'll help.

Wonder Woman has the speed of Hermes in both flight and in reaction and movement speed. How fast is that? It is never stated but implied to be really damn fast. Reaction speed should be similar to Superman / Capt Marvel. Flight speed is certainly lower. Running speed is quick enough to run with Jessie Quick but I don't think Jessie was going all out.

You are right about the Jessie Quick thing. I have that issue. She is running alongside Jessie and Jessie realizes that she might be going to fast for Diana. When she asks Diana is she needs to slow down, Diana tells her it is not a problem for her at all. She has been able to keep up her running speed because she was cheating and letting Jessie cut the wind for her. So I think she is as fast as Jessie if Diana is going all out and Jessie is not. Keep in mind this is running speed and not flight or reaction speed.

Her flight speed is comparable to that of Superman under regular conditions. That is to say, she always is able to keep up with him from one location to the next if he is not pushing himself to insane lengths.

For atmospheric flight I would agree but I don't recall her keeping up with him outside of the atmosphere where he can cut lose.

That is true but I do not recall an occasion where that ever even came up. Plus if we are talking about what Superman is actually capable of in space, I doubt many could even come close to his space flight feats.

I am still ranking Superman based on the feat of him flying from Earth to Jupiter (I think) when he heard about Luthor becoming president, that rated him at around 18x FTL

Hermes, or Mercury escaped a mini black hole, so he can move superluminal speeds. Therefore would make me believe she can do the same.

which of course brings me to Jay. Who based on showings in Justice Society is noticeably faster than Jesse, but based on his appearances in Flash books (training Bart etc) slower than Wally and Bart and on par or just behind Max. So 24.

Not that I necessarily recommend a boost, but Zoom really has no practical limits to his speed. He can accelerate his timestream enough that normal time is effectively stopped. He can move as fast or as slow as he wants, basically.

The scan you after confirms verbatim what Phantom said, that BA was peaking at mach 500. As I said, questionable. He starts faltering at mach 500, but it isn't until near light speed that Jay takes his velocity. There's no way Jay was traveling at ~C and Adam at Mach 500 and for them to still be side by side with each other. Thanks for the scans. Saved me the trouble of going through my files.

If there is one thing I can find quick, it's my issues of JSa (any run I have) they're nice and handy on the book shelf 3 meters to the left of my computer (along with my Infinity Inc, 87 LEGION (out of order), All Star Squadron, Dr fate and 1/3 of my Hellblazer). Now anything else requires me to pull boxes apart (or climb into the roof)

Black Adam is equal to Captain Marvel, and I have seen scans posted of Billy traveling faster than light.

Black Adam is equal to Captain Marvel, and I have seen scans posted of Billy traveling faster than light. Yeah and in Flight that would be right. But none of the Marvel family or BA can match the Flash family in running speed or reaction time. In flight I've got scans of BA keeping up to Jay even moving away. Much the same way that in all of the Superman Flash races (for charity etc), Superman wins when flying but looses on foot.

@beatboks: Ah. I was unaware you were discussing running speed.
Never mind then.
