Get with it peasants! This is one of the very best comics going today! I feel you're all betraying me by not reading it to discuss it with me.

I dig the Ram dude. I bet he would rock a Klingon in a post-game headbutt.

Lol so Comixology had the first issue for free so I gave it a read on my phone. Very easily the best comic I have read in some time. Fresh characters, unique universe but familiar, and very clever dialogue. In fact, that was my favorite party. Even though it is fantasy/sci-fi, the language and the way characters interacted with one another was brilliant and very real.
I love this already. Fury I owe you a drink for this.

Saga is like the finest cocaine known to man. I took one sniff with the first issue and thought I could wait. Then the first trade was released and I bought it. Once again, a much bigger sniff and I'm thinking "I can wait for the next trade". I lied to myself and bought the next 2 single issues and I plan on collecting it in trade as well. It is a masterpiece.

I agree with you on the drug thing Fury. If I had a tablet to read it on instead of a phone, I would just buy the whole series right now.

Bump for Phantom!
Brief overview of issue #1 from Image's site: Y: THE LAST MAN writer BRIAN K. VAUGHAN returns to comics with red-hot artist FIONA STAPLES for an all-new ONGOING SERIES! Star Wars-style action collides with Game of Thrones-esque drama in this original sci-fi/fantasy epic for mature readers, as new parents Marko and Alana risk everything to raise their child amidst a never-ending galactic war. The adventure begins in a spectacular DOUBLE-SIZED FIRST ISSUE, with forty-four pages of story with no ads for the regular price of just $2.99!
Basically, Marko and Alana's races ar at war and have been for years with no end in sight. They take off together with their newborn child and are just a part of the story. Their allies and enemies are all incredibly interesting. The art is bloody fantastic with all kinds of new creations, outer space brothels, winged humanoids, robots and basically an entire new universe of stuff you haven't really seen before.
I really want to say more but couldn't forgive myself if I spoiled it for you.
