Ckal got me more interested in looking into this by telling me he was interested in it, so I looked into it. After asking Radical when it'd come out, they replied, "Sword of Apocalypse will be coming out later in the year, around October. We will give you fair warning. It is going to be an AMAZING book." So now I'm even more interested in it, so I hereby deem this thread worthy. Y'know, I might make a thread for all of their upcoming books.
So anyway, here's the run down:
In the 12th century, a Magnificent 7-style team of heroes from warring factions joins forces against the nightmare warriors of Hasan-i-Sabbah, commander of a fanatical sect of drugged assassins who make systematic use of political murder and terror. Richard the Lionheart, Saladin, Robin Hood, Temujin and Morgiana journey from the Siege of Acre to secret passages beneath Jerusalem, to the silk road to assault the fortress of Alamut. Along the way, they explore the mythical medieval world of glorious battles, holy relics and fearsome creatures as they learn the truth about Al-Battar: The Holy Sword of the Apocalypse.
