Little know this but my secret love is poetry so here is where we can discuss poetry, poets, and maybe the brave ones share their own poems.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe All mimsy were the borogroves And the momeraths outgrabe
Beware the Jabberwock, my son The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jub-Jub bird And shun the frimious Bandersnatch
He took his vorpal sword in hand Long time the manxome for he sought So rested he by the Tum-tum tree And stood a while in thought
And as an uffish thought he stood The Jabberwock, with eyes aflame Came whiffling though the tulgy wood And burbled as it came
One two! One two! And through and through! The vorpal sword went snicker-snack He left it dead, and with it's head He went galumphing back
And has thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beemish boy! Oh, frabjous day, calloo, callay! He chortled in his joy
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe All mimsy were the borogroves And the momeraths outgrabe

I had to memorize that when I was in middle school. For some reason, I still remember every word.

Who is Jervis Tetch, and what does he have to do with the Jabberwocky? He's the mad hatter and in the batman comics, when he's at his most insane, he speaks only in Alice in Wonderland quotes.

I love War poems. Flanders Fields is my favorite. Even cooler so, I went to Europe and went to the road where John McRae wrote it and such. They had the poem written out there and stuff, real nice. I still remember every word of it too; In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.

Loved the mad hatter as a character.
Robert Frost is beast.

Felis Cattus, is your taxonomic nomenclature, an endothermic quadruped carnivorous by nature? Your visual, olfactory and auditory senses contribute to your hunting skills, and natural defenses.
I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations, a singular development of cat communications that obviates your basic hedonistic predilection for a rhythmic stroking of your fur, to demonstrate affection.
A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents; you would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance. And when not being utilized to aide in locomotion, it often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.
O Spot, the complex levels of behaviour you display connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array. And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend, I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.

Here's some original poetry I wrote.
I Mean Every Word
Your eyes are my window frame Your heart is my beat Your fingertips are my flame So touch my skin, let me feel your heat Please tell me you feel the same Cuz I'm dying to hear the words And we can paint your walls with memories Till they fade away with age Sepia toned images, page to page Page to Page And we'll walk together in the rain Cuz it's better than sunshine alone We'll listen to the drops running down our skin Singing sweetly with our song, it can't be wrong To want to watch the sun To want to dry your eyes Standing side by side Eyes opened to the skies It's good enough for me to be tangled up in you It's enough to feel the tremble of your touch To hear the breaths as your chest rises and falls And I'm waiting for the sands, to wash away our fingerprints The ones which mark our bodies, with which we feel each other The ones that tattoo our skin, the graffiti which we cover Our entire bodies, a canvas for one another The artwork is our lives, painted by each other
