There are many people in comic characters that get to where they are mostly because of what their parents had drove into them as a kid. So turned out bad, some good. Who do you believe is a good father and/or mother? If you want you could say why they, to you, are a good parent. Other people may agree others may not. This is not solely a biological parent, it came be a foster, step or other. Name as many as you like, but it would be nice to hear the reason why you think they are the best or among the best.

Jonathan Kent. If he had screwed that up in any way, we could have ended up with Superman the psychotic serial killer. Maybe Thomas Wayne too. He made a major contribution by getting his head blown off.

Jonathan Kent. If he had screwed that up in any way, we could have ended up with Superman the psychotic serial killer. There is no way he is not in the top one. I just don't see him being number two. Who else raised a kid well out of his boundaries? Not having the fear most parents would of had if they yelled at him and he got made. That would cause a strain. The man had big ones. I put it partly to him and partly to Alfred.

I know many people think Uncle Ben is a major father figure. I'm not sure I agree though. His message to Peter was ignored completely and only through guilt does Peter adhere to it now.
Also I was joking about Thomas. Thomas had almost no hand in raising Bruce.

Also I was joking about Thomas. Thomas had almost no hand in raising Bruce. I think enough of Thomas' beliefs was programmed into Bruce before he was shot. Alfred takes the the majority of plaudits.

I almost cried when Johnathan Kent died in the comics. I can't come up with a better choice than that.

They're making an animated film of the story arc.
