I think it's perfect for Spider-man, especially for that issue of it. Care-free, joke bustin', light-hearted, fun. That issue was among one of my favorites, and I think the art helped it in that case. Now, if that was the art goin' on for somethin' like Grim Hunt, then we'd have some problems.

I think it is too zany, even for Spider-Man. Now Deadpool on the other hand....
Hahaha, I read through all of that. That was hilarious!! Although I had really hoped one of the pictures in the list would be that Captain America picture.

Hey, guess what, that comic was just as much for Deadpool as it was Spider-Man. Like I said, the art made the story as great as it was. It wasn't meant to be serious, it was supposed to be over the top, "zany," light-hearted, and fun. I mean, seriously, LADY STILT-MAN. It was like watching a crazy cartoon, and that's exactly how that issue should've been.
Lookin' through the dude's blog and deviantArt, I can sorta dig his style. He definitely knows what he's doin', and how to do it.

LOL, Obvious terrible anatomy pics are obvious. These pictures on the other hand were not seem that bad. But when i read the comments below, i have realized how bad it is. =]

I agree with this.
Also agreed. That artwork is not bad at all. Cartoony, maybe, but that doesn't really equate bad, especially looking at his other work. If we want to talk about weird bodies we can look at Todd McFarlane or even Mark Bagley's work, two people who have done Spidey and are considered classic. But, to each his own, I won't argue that it's not bad any further, lol.
Someone I dislike but I wouldn't say they're bad--at least, they've done work that I sometimes enjoy is Ramos. His stuff is really hit and miss for me. It usually depends on the inker and colorist, as well.
I love that art. It fit the tone of the story. It looks crazy, and Deadpool's back in town. It fits, imo... of course the anatomy is off, but still. I just liked it. I loved that issue, too. Kelly writing DP FTW.

For this kind of comics, i agree, the art fits. But i didn't really enjoy it. Of course it had deadpool and his awesome jokes, but i wanted to read their fight in a more realistic way than that. I thought i was reading a Looney toon fight where Duffy is fighting Bugs in an h2h fight...lol I agree, Kelly is one of the best.
I don't like JRjr's art. Why are there so many lines!??! Why is everyone comprised of angles!?! There's more, but I shouldn't have to explain.
Some of the shittiest art ever is by Kyle Baker. WHAT THE HELL?!?!
I'm also usually not a fan of colors being applied directly to pencils without inks (ex: last few issues of Gillen's run on Thor). The new run with Ferry pencils and Hollingsworth colors is great though.
