Awesome Surfer image.I don't think it's bad writing per se, but it is obviously set up in a way where the Hulks take central stage. The fact that Hulk could trick Rogers into thinking he knocked him out was the bad writing. The fact that the Hulk's thought they needed a diversion to run down on the Secret Avengers is bad writing too.

They needed the Avengers to be unprepared for them so that they'd fly to space and confront Hiro-Kala. The Avengers focused solely on the Hulk, and the others kept the SA occupied long enough for Skaar to highjack a vessel. It's not like the Hulks were out for blood, and having a prolonged fight with the Avengers was not their plan.

Any word on when Devastation will hit the shelves? It was on Marvel's solicitations for March.

Thanks. A little disheartening we have to wait so long, but the wait will just make it better when it finally gets here.
Any theories on what it will be about? Do you think it is a generic wrap up or a lead in to something bigger with 'The Annihilators'?

The solicitation didn't really specify much, at all.

Hmm. Guess we are just going to have to wait, then.

It's only been a couple months and I already miss Nova. Judging by 'Devastation' (which was pretty cool btw even though it was a purely set up issue for 'The Annihilators'), he won't be appearing in that mini either, which stars in March. So...4 issues long, it will end in July of 2011. Assuming Nova doesn't at least co star in a new series until at least July...that's going to be a long 7 months, or more.... =(

Still think it's amazing how he an' Pete died. They got a legacy now. I need my Annihilators now.

Yeah I hear you. They could not have possibly gone out in a more bad ass heroic way. Agreed, I need to read the Annihilators asap.

I'm looking foward for the Annihilators, does anyone know if Pak's mini about the Surfer will tie into this or if it will be canon at all?

Norcal, you gotta read Annihilation my friend. You're the second person in 5 days to tell me that. I'm going to cruise over to amazon and see what I can find.
