If that would happen, obviously it won't last forever. And if Slott actually attempts to do it, then i believe that he will have something good in mind. =]

It's probably more symbolic, like that Moon Knight promo---
.....
Oh. Right.

I don't think it's all that symbolic. It's quite possible Anti-Venom will decide to go up against Negative, due the latter's crime empire, without knowing Negative himself is responsible for the cure of his cancer and his new powers.
Which reminds me, why didn't Eddie ever question where his powers came from? He was near death, then suddenly at perfect health and more powerful than ever before. He should have been suspicious of the situation.

He should have been suspicious of the situation. He didn't question the cancer healing because Martin Li advised him to just enjoy the miracle. He did later find out about Martin Li being Mr. Negative and it affected him greatly to the point where he just ignored Negative and went after regular drug pushers (New Ways To Live). The issue where he finds out is "Amazing Spider-man EXTRA! 2" I think. EDIT: Oh wait, I just realized what you were saying. Nevermind.

@ IV - I was more so referring to the time where he first got his new powers, but your post also helps. I have read New Ways to Live, but I don't remember him mentioning Negative there (could be my memory failing me), so I will check Amazing Spider-man EXTRA # 2, for sure.

In NWTL he makes no mention of Neggs (trust me, I've read it more times than I should mention), and I might have gotten the EXTRA! numbering wrong. The art for it was by Bachelo if that helps. .... Damn he draws a trippy Anti-Venom.

Bachalo is hit or miss with me. But I liked his art in Shed, it complimented the feel of the story well.

Yeah, so a person on another forum has been trying desperately to get everyone he knows to read Marvel Adventures Spider-man, and I've been really meaning to pick it up but for some reason I always forget. My interest in it is sorta there, but not enough for me to be like "Oh snap gotta get." That is until after reading these. It looks so fun and campy and Spidey that I've gotta check it out. According to that person is "specifically after Tobin became writer and turned it into his thing." I've been loving the work Tobin's been doing with Spider-Girl so I'm making this post to remind myself to pick this up when I get the chance. In response to that someone added on:

Venom was hilarious in that series. He called Spidey "SM" just to piss him off and was pretending to be 1960s Robin.

My 8 year old son has been getting Marvel Adventures Spider-Man since well before they renumbered it about a year ago. I always read it since I'm buying it anyway, plus he likes to talk about it. He loves it and I enjoy it, although I probably wouldn't buy it if it wasn't for him. It's a good change of pace from most of what I read though. Very light and a little campy at times.

Apparently Spidey lost his spider sense for realzies. Thoughts? It's pretty wild. Now he has to rely on tech to make up the gap. I thought the scene where the two cops commented on his fall to each other was great. Oh and just for the record, I'm not feeling the artwork in #656 at all.

Just read it, and dang it's amazing how alike both Pete an' JJJ are, yet how very different. Another brilliant issue.
