Unless it comes down to who is more iconic, or a greater hero, I don't see Spider-Man winning at any comparison in general, not just in a fight. Spider-Man stomps in a rogues gallery comparison  |

Nah, Spidey may indeed have more iconic villains, but Iron Man is not at all lacking there either. The Mandarin, Crimson Dynamo, Iron Monger, Ultimo, Madame Masque, Titanium Man, Temugin, Ezekiel Stane, Maleen, the Ghost, Fing Fang Foom, and even Doctor Doom (they've fought/teamed-up so many times that I do credit them as rivals), are not lightweights.And most of them don't have their IQ drop 50 points every time they fight Iron Man, either. He can't have stupid villains, unless they're massive powerhouses, due to Stark being so smart and powerful himself. Iron's solution to everything is to build a new suit. He'd build a new iron man suit just so he doesn't have to walk from his office to Pepper Pott's to get his mail.
