true on the specifics of how the powers work, though Samus' abilities work the same way after Fusion (which is the most recent in the insane Metroid timeline), cept she absorbs cells or some such craziness.

Fusion didn't fuck the timeline as much as Other M did.

I'm bummed that Megaman won't be in there, but hey they're already DLC characters so there's hope and Zero's better than MM anyways so whatever. i like Zero,but really,Megaman (and X) is just better and thats coming from a guy that loves the Red color  by the way,i like the rost (with the exception of C.Viper and the lack of Megaman),i am likely to play with just about every char I am really looking foward to play with Spidey,Super-Skrull,Spencer,Zero,She-Hulk,Haggar and Dante hum.... Oh I'm still getting the game. I'll just be grumbling about Megaman as I play I get destroyed while I try and figure out how the hell to play as Bionic Commando.

megaman's design is really boring to me, personally. I mean, yeah, Zero's original look just screams "80s blocky mecha and glam hair" or whatever but his redesign is slick as hell and he's honestly one of the more badass characters I've seen in gaming who do it effortlessly.
X sort of fell off the wagon.

Still don't know who I'll main with. Gonna have to watch the gameplay videos again, but out of coolness and favorite character bias, I'll probably mess around with Thor, Spider-Man, Dante, and Viewtiful Joe.

Whoever the hell plays like Blackheart-Tank. probably Dormammu then, which is a unique addition to the team. I'm not entirely sure for myself, but I think I'll try rolling Dante/Thor/X-23 or Wolverine. Mainly because Dante looks like the new Strider, Thor looks like a version of Storm that isn't going to annoy me, and X-23 looks interesting and I want to see how close she is to Wolverine and if I don't like her style then I'll just roll with Logan. although to be honest it's all probably going to come down to how easy it is to do the inputs for the characters or something and how effective they are. I remember in MvC2 my team consisted of Hayato/Cable/Doom because I'd just spam Viper Beam and Doom's laser cause people didn't know how to fight it and it made me feel good in a cheap way. |

I remember when I first played MvC online and picked Cable, cue an entire match of my opponent bitching about Cable's spam cannon when I didn't even use it.
