In a post from iPlayWinner we hear some details about a new mode called Heroes and Heralds. It appears to be some sort Street Fighter X Tekkens gem system by adding in special features via cards you collect offline.

This mode will be free DLC post-launch.

A totally new way to play the game. Add abilities using cards, ala Gems or System Direction. Abilities include Parry, Assist Super Armor, XFactor Blowback, Dizzying Attacks, Projectile Invincibility, Special cancels into Specials, Invisibility, etc. Over 100 cards, equip 3 at once, 1.12 million total combinations.

You can also play as Galactus in Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. He showed off that feature today in a trailer that showed the devourer of worlds giving Wolverine (and Nova) a beatdown.
We caught this at the New York Comic-Con and, as you can probably tell, the crowd loved it. UvMC:3 will be out in late November for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Some changes/New features

• Spectator mode

• X Factor can be used on the air

• Characters now say something upon entering the screen when the previous character is defeated.

• Many of the returning cast has new moves, or moves that act differently, (Ryu's Hyper Fireball now bounces off of walls, Taskmaster and Spencer are shown with new moves.)

• Ghost Rider has at least 2 special moves that OTG, and his two level one supers appear to OTG. His level 3 super is a grab where he uses the Penance stare on you.

• Strider is the first character to have two level 3 supers, (Ragnarok, and the Ouroboros.) Most of his moveset from Marvel 2 was shown. His robot animal super OTGs.

• Hawkeye has different arrows he can fire depending on the button pressed (frozen shot, poison shot, piercing shot, triple arrow, scatter shot, and net shot are shown.)

• Wolverine's Berserker Slash is not invincible and slower.

• Viewtiful Joe has the "Slow Dodge" move now. It's a special move that's super cancellable. In the Viewtiful Joe games, if you activated Slow and you got attacked, you'd dodge.

• Magneto has a new special move where he sucks you in with magnetism. His air-to-ground dash is slower, though.

I wanted Surfer to be in it from the start. I conversed with jloneblackheart about why he wouldn't fit in with the game though. Also with Dormammu in it, I don't think we'll see Thanos either.
