My current team is Chris, Dante, Doctor Doom. Even though I think Chris is a boring character for some reason I'm good at him/he's easy to use/is fairly hard wearing. Play some good keep away, throw down grenades, if they try to go across the ground, call in Dante for his anti-air guitar wail if they try to dash over the top, call in Doctor Doom if they try to out-keep-away you for his plasma blast. Got about 5 wins in a row online so far using that team. yeah,i am not a fan of Chris either,but after watching the gameplay videos he looks great |

I don't really like him much as a character in Resident Evil 5. He's literally 1-dimensional and the entire time playing as him I'm just thinking how much more interesting and deep Wesker is.
However, he is very useful in MvC3. He has more health than almost all of the characters (except Hulk, Sentinel, Thor, etc) and he has a lot of handy moves. and a 2 button low shot to get under defenses/pop someone up off the ground for another combo. I'm sure I'll stop using him once I master someone like Deadpool or Wolverine but for now he's one of my best.

I'm startin' to get into Dormammu. He's got some interesting and cool moves, but using them in a fight's a big challenge on my part.

Got the game 4 days ago, I think the character endings are so cheap but all round great game.. my current team is X-23, Deadpool and Akuma.. but I'm going to replace Akuma, just not that good with him really..
X-23 by far my best fighter, really easy to get combo's with..
Deadpool my all rounder really..
Who's a good heavy hitter?

Doctor Doom has the best ranged attack in the game. He's pretty heavy damage if you call him in for help while throwing in some combos of your own. Dormammu is also very powerful at range but his attacks need some intuition. Thor is slow but his attacks do huge, huge damage.
Dante/Trish are both really, really strong at any range.

I was trying Doom out for a while, he did work out well.. I might try him out again. Dormmammu range attacks are good.. but his combo's are not, Tried Dante not for me but I'll give Trish a try..

I was using him for a while but droped him.. I think if you mastered him he'd be a great character to use but he's got a lot of counter attacks which I don't like.. yeah cool to use tho he got moves from cap, hawkeye and spiderman.. So why don't you have the game k4tz?  |

@k4tz Taskmaster is good but his movement speed is quite slow. He has a great range of moves and counters though. I mean you launch someone with Captain America's shield, Web-swing with Spider-Man's webs into a mid air combo then riddle them with Hawkeye's trick arrows while they're still in the air. That's cool and it captures Taskmaster fantastically. I think he's highly underrated (no one seems to use him) but I am quite disappoint that they didn't create his UDON costume for an alternative costume in the game.
@mav Wesker also does fantastic damage, but he can be a little tricky to learn with his teleports and he has no real ranged threat. He's good for rush/beatdown and tricking your opponent up.

So why don't you have the game k4tz? $$$$ Dane, sounds like a good character for experts. How can everyone have so many alt costumes and Taskmater doesn't have UDON? That's ridiculous. |

It is ridiculous because ya know what alt costumes Taskmaster does have.. that yellow/orange one when he was on that team with Deadpool and Constrictor that I think the Wizard was running for one or two Issue's..
Spiderman has the best alt tho but I haven't check all the other character's yet..
Most of them are just alt colors..

That's because all of the costumes are just alternate colors. For DLC, they're giving us some redesigns, but other than that, just colors. What are the redesigns? I saw Steve's current Super Soldier one, Iron Patriot, but I don't remember anyone else. Lemme look up the video.

The only DLC I'll buy for this game is if they (hopefully) release Psylocke. Any other characters I'd buy would have to be anyone from the first two games, or someone else who was a personal favorite.
The only team staple of mine that I didn't have to replace was Morrigan. Psylocke, I obviously had to replace and B.B. Hood. My new team now is Morrigan, C.Viper, and X-23/Deadpool. I've been saying this forever, and not just cause I'm a Psylocke fangirl, but really, there's no reason why she shouldn't be in 3. She just came back, had a successful mini and now she's on the team of one of Marvel's best selling titles. AND she was already in the second and was a tourney staple. If she was in you could also have an Uncanny X-Force team achievement if you use her, Wolvie, and Deadpool.
