So, do you all think that in 50 of so years, the comics that we own and buy today or even in the past 10 years will be worth as much as the comics 50 years in the past are today?

I honestly don't think so.

I highly doubt it. Usually rare issues are the valuable ones. Today that does not really happen. On top of being rare, they generally need to be a sought after issue.

But I have seen Silver age comics that seem to be just throw aways, worth at least 25 bucks.

If I could get rid off all my issues and get them in digital form on a DVD (like my 40 years of Uncanny X-Men) I would.

Not even first issues or big story arcs like Blackest night?

Nope. I have boxes packed with issues and they just take up huge amounts of space and they look ugly as hell. If I had them all downloaded or on a DVD, it saves mountains of space and I still get everything I want from them.
