Can't say I know enough about Scottish Gaelic culture to know what's crappy and what isn't. When the sum of what they seem to be able to come up is bad scottish accents, kilt jokes and going on about "freedom", you should. |

A lot of people don't mind it being liked to Alien as in the same universe (As Scott already said it was in the same universe which also means its in the same universe as Predator) but they don't like it being tied down by it. |

Ridley Scott did also say if I recall this takes place 30 years before Nostromo comes knocking too. Wait face huggers? Well, I know that space Jockey is going to have something burst out of his chest so that confirms that, didn't expect anyone else to get poked though. I do expect everyone to die however. A lot of people don't mind it being liked to Alien as in the same universe (As Scott already said it was in the same universe which also means its in the same universe as Predator) but they don't like it being tied down by it. I don't think it is too tied down by it, the only people that knows how it ends are actual fans of the franchise. I think Ripley also mentioned there won't be much Xenomorphs running around either, so the space jockey / guy with a mohawk seem to the the main antagonists. |
