Age of X looks so awesome. It's times like this that I really hate that the nearest comic shop is nearly an hour from my house. Well, there's always Marvel's digital option. That could work. Problem is, I don't have a credit card yet. I could use my parents cards, but that would be kinda awkward since they already tend to look down their noses at my comic fan-dom. So I really just don't have any good way of paying for digital comics. And, like you, I like having comics I can actually hold.

If you are pre-18, just get one in your father's name. Easy peasy. Note: I exclude myself from any possible and very likely ramifications from you illegally getting a credit card in your pappi's name. But man it sure would be a gas to hear about.

I've heard too many of Dave Ramsey's talks to want to use a credit card like that.

Okay so I had no idea that the X-Men arc with the vampires was anything BUT a limited series. The next arc looks to be a team up with Spider-Man. At least they're getting off Utopia and interacting with the rest of the Marvel U for a change.

I have to say I'm liking the current Uncanny arcs that are going on and the subplots. But good grief Land's art is mind numbingly bad in places.

He could have some pretty sweet artwork if he put some effort into it (I really like his attention to detail), but he's just the most incredibly lazy artist I've ever seen.

Yep, some of his stuff is good in spots and then the rest just makes you wonder what the heck is happening.

The great thing is that you cannot bash his art in the thread either. Against site rules. Bwah ha ha ha ha!
