TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2
Just when you thought Namco had a full plate and couldn't do anymore. This pops up.If you are unaware the first Tekken Tag Tournament came out after Tekken 3 so it's only fitting that 3 games later another one comes out. If you played the last Tekken (Tekken 6) you know that Namco has really stepped up on gameplay and graphics so you can only imagine how good this will be. This is also in addition to making two crossover fighters with Capcom. It seems Capcom has grown to respect Namco as they do Marvel so I would expect more games in the future as with the release of these two Fighters "Street Fighter vs. Tekken" and "Tekken X Street Fighter:", they will have put their stamp on 4 games together.
Here is the article from Kotaku.....
Tekken Tag Tournament is getting a sequel dubbed... Tekken Tag Tournament 2!
The game was just made public at the Tokyo Game Show by Tekken team leader Katsuhiro Harada. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a totally new title. It is slated first for arcades, but is bound for consoles after that. The game'sdebut trailer shows fighters Jin Kazama, Kazuya, Leo and Asuka.
In the last ten years, the Tekken series has featured stages with walls that can be knocked down. The developers are aiming to make the stages for Tag 2 even more dynamic.
The previous Tag Tournament title came out in 1999. "It's been ten years," says Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada. "Tekken has evolved and changed." The sequel looks poised to respond and incorporate those changes as well as push the franchise forward.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be out summer 2011 in Japan. Other regions will be announced at a later date.
