Robin confirmed as pre-order only pre-order only bonus in a certain store is just stupid IMO

Pointless confirmation if you ask me as it doesn't seem like he will ve in the main campaign storyline.
Fail.

I don't see it as pointless. Challenges give the game a good amount of replay value and having a new roster of characters with their own unique moves will be a blast. I know just playing as Joker gave Batman: AA new life for me, and now we have AT LEAST two others. Perhaps we'll be able to go on missions as Drake like we will as Catwoman in the single player, too.

Also, he's available to anyone with the game. You have to unlock him. The pre-order just means you get him before everyone else without the need to complete whatever the task may be to unlock him.

I disagree because Arkham:Asylum is the kind of game I only play for the single player storyline campaign.
But your mileage may vary.

Did you play the challenges in Batman: AA, and if so, what were your thoughts? The campaign was rather limited and didn't really justify a replay, so there were only challenges for my attention. I enjoyed them, but thankfully AC seems FAR more open (in terms of the campaign) than AA, and the challenges seem more diverse (based on the descriptions for some). Any additional replay value I can get for my money, the better imho.

"are you sure about that? any source would be good" 100%. IGN confirmed it a few days ago. Basically, it gives you the option to use him right away, while others will need to unlock him (however that is done) via the single player. I really, really hope they have a few more characters for the challenges

that`s your opnion,it is relevant for everyone that plays the challenge mode Indeed, which is why I said "In my opinion" and "for me" @k4tz: yeah I did the challenges, not all of them. But honestly I'm a story driven gamer so unless a game has a story good enough to be replayed I tend to shelve then for indefinite periods of time once I've finished the storytelling portion. Which is why when playing with friends I play completely different kinds of games.

The only reason why I see it as pointless is because I live in FUCKIN' ENGLAND! Tim's my favourite bat-verse character as well. So it hurts even more.

Well, yeah the story is definitely the primary focus. I don't know a single person who will dive into the challenges before the game itself. But once the campaign is over and there's nothing left to do, the challenges are there to hold your hand and have some fun with stealth/combat.

Where the hell is his hair as well? I mean, it looks like, Chris O'Donnell's Robin. They do know we hate them films, right?

Hair would just get in his way while he's flipping around and what have you. Plus, they likely thought the change fits the "grittier' look of the city.
