I'm too lazy to think of a game for every category, and even then I don't think I could fill them out but here are my picks:

Game of The Year: Darksiders
Best Downloadable Game: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
Best Open-World Game: Red Dead Redemption
Best RPG: Mass Effect 2
Biggest Surprise: Goldeneye Wii (game blew me away with how good it was. it was really good. I expected it to be terrible.)
Funniest Game: Costume Quest made me laugh and I didn't even play the game. Some really charming dialogue in that one.
Best Action/Adventure Game: Darksiders
Biggest Disappointment: Vanquish
Most anticipated game for 2011: Batman Arkham City. Though if I had a PS3 I'm sure it'd be Uncharted 3.

Personal opinion:

Game of The Year - I think Mass Effect 2 will win.

Best Graphics - Metro 2033.

Best Shooter - Black Ops.

Best RPG - Final Fantasy XIII because I played the game from beginning to end with my GF and loved every second of it (Valkyria Chronicles 2, Arc Rise Fantasia, and Shin Megami Tensei are very close too but since it's FF-oriented, my bias picks FF X111).

Best Open World game - Red Dead Redemption.

Best 2-D game - Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Best Action/Adventure game - Yakuza 3 (GoW3, Monster Hunter Tri, and No More Heroes 2 all had the potential to win this category).

Best Fighting game - BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (Raging Blast 2 was good, I got my OVA for it, and Storm 2 was great too).

Best Sport game - NBA 2K11.

Best PS3 exclusive - God of War 3.

Best Xbox 360 exclusive - Halo: Reach.

Best Wii exclusive - Super Mario Galaxy 2 (I liked Metroid: Other M, No More Heroes 2, and Monster Hunter Tri too).

Best PSP exclusive - Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (Peace Walker and Valkyria Chronicles 2 could have won it for me too, but after so long without a Kingdom Hearts game, it takes it easily).

Best DS exclusive - Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (DS had a great year IMO. Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Layton, Dragon Ball: Origins 2, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn etc. were all great).

Best DLC - Borderlands: The Secret Army of General Knoxx.

Best downloadable game - Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley.

Most Overhyped game - Halo: Reach (I feel that MW2 was way more over-hyped than Black Ops).

Most anticipated Title for 2011 - The Last Guardian (others are Crysis 2, Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution, Brink, and all the great RPGs announced so far).

Biggest disappointment - Alan Wake, Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy XIV, GoldenEye, NBA Elite 11 and many more.

Biggest surprise - Transformers: War for Cybertron (not really a fan of Transformers and I thought it would be garbage), Just Cause 2, Mass Effect 2 (I never played the first one so yeah).

Funniest game - Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley.

Best game with an unconfirmed sequel - Bayonetta.

Biggest hope for 2011 - I don't really have game that I really want to see but a Jak and Daxter or Virtua Fighter game would be cool.
