Has anyone read this? I thought it was a fun story. Nothing too extravagant, but a tad too short. I wish it were an ongoing, but I think it ended last week with issue 5.

Couple strikes it rich and decide to become adventurers, change their names and start up a group . While running a mission into a hidden military compound, Nick Mystery breaks out a set of twins called the atomic age sisters while Anastasia meets the first member of their group who turns out to be a ghoul called Secret Skull. Nick gets framed for killing the guy who ran the military base while trying to escape with the twins and during the Mystery Society's escape they attain their last member; Jules Verne's brain in an automaton's body.
While on the run they investigate a case where Edgar Allen Poe's skull is swiped, as well. It's pretty short and a little far out, they don't get into how Nick Mystery can do what he do such as run into a military base and don't mention any sort of training, Anastasia, his wife, also shows uncanny skill. In the only flashback they had of the couple they were sitting on a bed smoking pot while talking about hitting the lottery, but that was it. Otherwise I enjoyed it, the art was pretty good and being a something of a Steve Niles fan it was a pretty good story, IMO.
