In the third installment, you'll step into the shoes of Joseph Capelli, the man who killed Nathan Cole, the main character of the first two games. Taking place 4 years after the events of the second game, the Chimera have overrun the entire planet, and humanity is on the edge. It appears you'll travel to what remains of cities across the United States. Discuss!

I actually grew to really like the franchise. I'm a big fan of the FPS genre, but the first never looked all that appealin to me. I thought it just tried to copy elements from other games that worked well. When I bought my PS3, it was cheap so I picked it up as well to give it a shot. I'm glad I did, because the gameplay has been really exciting, IMO. As you can imagine, I picked up the 2nd on its release date haha.

The first time I played Resistance was at my friend's place and I didn't like it. I rented it a few months later and I found out it was worth it.

I haven't real played multi-player a whole lot, usually just for the campaign. But I do recall little to no latency for it.

The campaign is a lot of fun, too. Especially if you do co-op. It's tough to explain, because when it comes down to it, there isn't a whole lot that makes Resistance stand apart from other FPS franchises. But I just really, really enjoy the game.
