"-Better hardware? And done what with? "
Uncharted 2 was easily the best looking thing before Crysis came along. Future exclusives will continue to take advantage.
"Their games don't look or run any better than Xbox's, and in fact like I said before, IGN's opinion is that Crysis 2 on the 360 is the best looking console game to date."
Games that are ported sometimes get the shaft for one system if a developer focuses on one instead of the other. The same happened for Bioshock 2, but that doesn't mean Crysis 2 looks like shit on the PS3. It's still extremely impressive.
"If you are including free online as to why the PS3 costs more, than it is not really free, is it? So a Blu-Ray and controller charger."
Paying once instead of being charged every year is a better option, especially since it's less in the long run. Plus, that's only a fraction. Superior hardware went into it and the blu-ray is still cheaper than the new/up-to-date models. So if you're a movie buff, it's a huge plus and a good deal.
"The PS3 is virtually the same thing as it has been, except smaller."
I never remarked on a latest PS3 for specs, only price drop (which Erik pointed out)
"But there's no reason to compare it to an older version of the 360 which doesn't have the built in wifi. And oh yeah, Xbox has a built in wifi, and still costs less."
Then you pay annual for online, batteries (or you pay for chargers). Plus they continue to raise the cost of XBL for shit that isn't even gamer related. They cited adding features like ESPN, Netflix, radio, Facebook, etc.
"-Btw, erik doesn't have a 360 right now, so of course he would be looking at the latest model which has the built in wifi."
And he's also said he likes movies, so clearly the built-in blu-ray that remains the latest with frequent updates is far more appealing than just the latest 360 having it (finally) built in.
"-My laptop is on wifi up here in my room, my router is in the basement. Which is why I don't always get the best connection on skype. Don't bring that in here!"
Riiiiiight.
"-CoD is on the PS3, the same type of people play it on both consoles. And that's the thing, if PSO ends up gaining more users, the low quality users are sure to increase as well. You never have a problem finding a full game, but how long does it take?"
There's also the fact that the 360 is far more popular, meaning more of those kids play it for the 360, and us PS3 gamers don't have as many trolls when we go online
Before you pull the "it's more popular for a reason" card, that hardly translates to quality. McDonlads sells well, and Fox News rakes in tons of viewers. Their quality....Not so much, lol.

"Oh come on. A lot of the times if people are going to buy a game they are going to buy it, regardless."
If it's the coninuation of a franchise you already enjoy, of course. But if it's something new to you, why just buy it right away? I would always play demos or test out new franchises before I'd shell out $60 on em.
"Demos are a good feature and both have them,"
This ties into the paying for online. Silver accounts(the free ones on XBL) don't allow for anything. You can see who's online, you can't play w/ em, and you can't dload demos. So yeah, you gotta pay for the online in order to get demos. PS3's free network gives you full access (play online, demos, etc)
"but if PS3 gets them earlier than Xbox (which I don't know how much)"
Playstation Plus which is the one you can pay for. no clue how much it is, since I don't use it. But both sides will get exclusives for different things. For example, the PS3 got the MK demo, 360 didn't.
"they are probably still before the game comes out. I'm sure both systems have the demos once the game hits shelves. So like I said, who cares."
Like I said, some are exclusive. Case-by-case basis. Just saying you can get them for free on Ps3, where-as you pay annual for the 360 (and let's face it, he'll likely be online for 5 years or so)
"-Lol, I've never seen that. Why would MS make it more difficult and take longer to get it's users to spend more money? =P"
No clue, they won't even let people using the free online to BUY arcade games and shit. It's mind-boggling to me.
"Because every point you are making I am effortlessly countering."
As am I. *slaps with glove*
"The two things I give PS3 over Xbox 360 are the Blu-Ray (If you are going to use it)"
You mean if you like movies and enjoy watching them with good quality?
Yes, Erik said he does. So that alone should make the choice rather obvious.
" and the 'free' controller charger. Just like the 'free' online play, the 'free' controller charger probably isn't free at all either because they just add it into the base price to justify why you are paying so much for it. "
PS3 is only $100 more than the 360. Superior specs and potential and no rings of death 1/3rd of the time or so can do that to a system, I guess.
"But I love the controller charger I have for Xbox 360. Great little item there."
The gf bought me the charger cord as a gift....Before that I was running through batteries like a madman.
