Too late with my statement!
I love the fact that I only read Batman and Detective Comics to know where Ra's al Ghul' resurrection was going for Tim in Robin. I carried on and loved them. Obviously I began with Annual 24 I think. Before One Year Later Arc.

Alan Scott isn't even a GL. He's an honorary member of the corps and he's called Green Lantern and he's cooler then any of the others in the GL corps. So he's the greatest GL @henshin: no, just no. Nighthunter: Being a war hero doesn't make you worthy of being Cap. Bucky doesn't have the heart or morals to be Captain America and he proves it more each day. And the Batman legacy doesn't necessarily mean there can be another Batman. Plus I have usually been very disappointed by any story with someone else being batman unless it was purposely written in as to show why that person can't hold a candle to Bruce (like Knightfall) because these other Batmen just aren't as cool or good as Bruce.

He's known as Sentinel to me. He doesn't have a sector, or a power battery therefore is not a Green Lantern.

Dick has taken care of every single thing that was thrown to him so far, nothing better can be asked for him.

yeah but Bruce wasn't even 1/10 as good as them back when he put the cowl for the first time right? Dick has taken care of every single thing that was thrown to him so far, nothing better can be asked for him. He's had the attitude to be Batman since the beginning. The same cannot be said of Dick. Just because you succeed at a task, doesn't make you the same as someone else. He could have succeeded as Nightwing. Doesn't make him Batman.

And again, Dick is not trying to be Bruce, he is trying to represent what Batman stands for, he is trying to make a difference in the world and embracing the family business. Again, he doesn't have to be Batman, he chooses to be

That, or I could just change your username to Merc and get on with it.

And again, Dick is not trying to be Bruce, he is trying to represent what Batman stands for, he is trying to make a difference in the world and embracing the family business. Again, he doesn't have to be Batman, he chooses to be That is meaningless. Every true hero tries to make the world a better place, doesn't make them worthy of taking the mantle of their teachers. And just because he wants to embrace the family business (something he had already done better by becoming Nightwing) doesn't make him worthy of being Batman or give him the right attributes to be. Neither is putting on that suit. Azrael trapsided around in Bruce's suit too, he still wasn't really Batman.
