You're like the cops abusing your power Darkness. If I was abusing my power, I would have changed your username to "My Little Pony" or something.

And again, Dick is not trying to be Bruce, he is trying to represent what Batman stands for, he is trying to make a difference in the world and embracing the family business. Again, he doesn't have to be Batman, he chooses to be That is meaningless. Every true hero tries to make the world a better place, doesn't make them worthy of taking the mantle of their teachers. And just because he wants to embrace the family business (something he had already done better by becoming Nightwing) doesn't make him worthy of being Batman or give him the right attributes to be. Neither is putting on that suit. Azrael trapsided around in Bruce's suit too, he still wasn't really Batman. Azrael was crazy and unstable, Gotham needed a Batman and Dick took the mantle just because of that. He always felt that it was something temporary, Bruce gave him his blessing, Bruce wants him to be Batman, most important, Bruce thinks he is good enough to be Batman

Azrael was crazy and unstable, Gotham needed a Batman and Dick took the mantle just because of that. no, the writers wrote a story saying the city needs a batman to justify the Battle for the Cowl arc. Big difference. They should never have wrote things in this way. It made no sense, couldn't be true and it pissed over years of established character development. Bruce gave him his blessing, Bruce wants him to be Batman, most important, Bruce thinks he is good enough to be Batman Who cares? the writers wrote the same thing in for Steve and Bucky. Doesn't mean squat that from an outside perspective Dick isn't Batman he can't be, he doesn't have the attitude, the mentality or the background.

I can understand writers choosing Dick to sub-in for BatMan, but on his return, I wish they would have Dick return the mantle. It was never meant for him. I can appreciate what writers have done thus far, but having two Batmen just makes no sense. There is only one BatMan.

Agreed to disagree then?
One last thing though: If Gotham really doesn't need a Batman then the one who gets disrespected is Bruce, not Dick

No way around it because I think you are wrong. need a Batman then the one who gets disrespected is Bruce, not Dick Yeah no and this is so ridiculous I don't even know where to begin. But since this might go on forever I'll keep my rebuttal simple and concise. Batman's struggle was always with the idea that one day it could end and people could be safe in Gotham. If, because he inspired people to follow his example (like Nightwing, Catwoman now, Robin, Oracle, Batgirl, etc), the City can be protected without him. Then it means he is suceeding not disrespected because it means his efforts are not pointless. It means the battle can be won. That's hope.

Anyway................
What do people think of the new batman incorporated line?
I've read so far the new issues of Detective Comics, Batman, Batman and Robin, Red Robin and Batwoman and loved them all

I enjoyed the Return, now I'm waiting to see how Inc. will shape up before passing judgment.

The concept behind BatMan, Inc. raises some skepticism in my mind, but I will give it a chance to progress before I start writing page long threads about my dislike for it.

Oh yes, there are horrors in this world from whom the innocent fans of comics cannot even fathom mortal.
Stories so terrible only a godly will could survive unscared.
