Because no forum is complete without her. This is the official Wonder Woman discussion thread.

Anyone noticed it follows the same pattern as Bucky's Captain America costume? Semi-traditional upper body and black pants. The jacket is new though.

Wonder Woman... one of the elite characters of DC... as well as she is a true Heavy Hitter...

Wonder Woman is simply the best. The new look is fine for me but I do not know how I feel about the change in her origin for no reason though.

I doubt the change is permanent. I think this is simply shaping up to be a "set right what once went wrong" type of story.

Not a fan of current Wonder Woman tbh.

Her powers have been tweaked with since she apparently hasn't learned to fly yet, but officially, no, she hasn't been depowered. She doesn't have any feats now though.

The only JMS written character with good feats during his tenure is Spider-Man. For some reason he tends to diminish the power levels of his (usually very powerful) protagonists.
What do you mean, "learned", though? Does she suffer from memory loss? What is the explanation for it?

I tried to learn as little as possible, but my curiosity got the better of me.

The story goes that some force decided to alter her history. In this version, While WW was a child, Themyscira was attacked and devastated, with Hipolita killed and the amazons scattered across the world. Diana was raised as a princess in exile, and the story follows her trying to find out what happened and whose idea was it to alter history.

They better correct that because I am not liking it at all. In fact, why are they chucking the established history out the window for multiple characters anyway? Is the force that is changing Wonder Woman the same force that altered Superman's past?

If you're referring to Superman: Secret Origins, no. That force is Geoff Johns' endless love for the silver age.

And the quality of the story? Good. I haven't read the last one yet. I'd choose Superman over it, and granted it seemed a bit slow, but it is by no means bad.

If you're referring to Superman: Secret Origins, no. That force is Geoff Johns' endless love for the silver age. I was referring to Superman: Earth One. I am still confused about its ties to the mainstream universe as I am under the impression that it is the replacement for Birthright.
