Is it me...or are these avs a little too small? Is Comicvine stomping us on av size? CV's are smaller....

My girl Diana needs a new Rogue Gallery...big time. Why do you say this?

My girl Diana needs a new Rogue Gallery...big time. Why do you say this? because her rogue gallery isn't worthy of her. Except for Ares and Circe

because her rogue gallery isn't worthy of her. Except for Ares and Circe Cheetah, A well written Giganta, and Silver Swan are all good characters.

Cheetah, A well written Giganta, and Silver Swan are all good characters. Can't say I agree with you. Me, I've always been an advocate that Diana should be strangling Hydras, blinding Cyclops, wrestling Atlas and castrating Titans. Not being pitted against a cat girl, a monkey that was turned into a human that can grow to giant size and another that I barely remember, despite having read wonder woman a lot.

I take it you're a proponent of having Circe or Ares to serve as Diana's arch enemy? Although the Cat girl can be rather awesome when written right.

Agreed Done well Cheetah is an awesome character. who sometimes gets a bad rep from poor versions in animation.

I take it you're a proponent of having Circe or Ares to serve as Diana's arch enemy? Not exactly... what I mean is that her rogues gallery should be composed of mythological entities and legendary beasts not what he has now. And in this regard, Ares and Circe are both highly appropriate when written right. And I could never get into liking the cat girl much...

Diana is awesome.
Her top villains should remain Circe, Ares, and Cheetah. All three are excellent villains and underrated, in my opinion.
Current Wonder Woman is just meh though. As long as the change is temporary (and I think it is), I am not going to complain. I just want it to be over so Wonder Woman can continue in her story lines in volume three, with her original powers all intact, and her original costume. The current costume has some nice elements but is just not right for Wonder Woman.

I do like the new costume, but not as a replacement for the classic. I just always have loved that classic outfit.

So, some of them she has yet to demonstrate or are simply at lower levels.

But I still hope it is temporary. Why fix something that was not broken?

Even though i'm not a huge fan of Wonder Woman, i find her pretty interesting character. I respect mythology related characters. =]

So what do people think of Phil Hester comming in using the "story notes" of JMS to finish the story?

I enjoy Hester's work from the Darkness, but it would have been preferable for JMS to tell the story himself.

I agree, but at the very least they chose a great writer. Thing is, I love JMS' work but I am sick of him leaving stories unfinished.....

yeah that's a big problem with JMS

I'm perfectly fine with Hester concluding the arc, but in the end, he'll be trying to tell a story that is not his, and that is unlikely to bring good results. JMS could have at least tried to wrap up the story before departing from the title, then Hester would be at liberty to produce stories of his own without the need to measure up to anyone else.
All in all, I find JMS's decision to leave both Superman, and Wonder Woman, in favour of the Earth One sequel rather poor.

Yeah, especially when you find the excuse to be "We chose to do a SUperman: Earth one" sequel instead. Dude, they advertised it as a series of ongoing OGN in the first place, you are not fooling anyone.
