Just posting after getting a good look after the avengers trailer.
I think outside Black Widow and Iron Man(depending on if he need a new suit or not, but that is sort of Iron Man's thing so I can't expect it not to happen), everyone will be getting a new look in the Avengers film. Thor going back to a more classic / sleeveless shirt, Captain America going for an armored up / true to the comics outfit with pistols, the Hulk being a different person entirely of course and etc. Heck Fury looks like he will play a big role in Avengers, potentially on a helicarrier powered by his own awesome aura.
I have to say Marvel is going big with this one.

Is Captian America really that good? People are saying that the movie is epic haven't seen it yet. IMO it is. It's my all-time favorite movie based on a comic book. Curious as to how everyone would rate the Marvel Studios pictures so far (provided you have seen all of them). Here is how I would line them up: 1. Captain America: The First Avenger 2. Iron Man 3. Thor 4. The Incredible Hulk 5. Iron Man 2 1 and 2 are very close for me and 4 and 5 could easily flip-flop. They've all been impressive IMO.

Cap is a good movie overall. I would have liked to see a little more action in the fist half, but that would have likely taken away from the movie itself, in what they had and were setting up in the story.
Minor complaints: -couple corny lines -Cap vs. Red Skull could have been a bit longer -Would like to see more Cap just kicking mass amounts of ass at once

Ironically enough, the first 30-45 minutes were my favorite parts of Cap. Past that nothing really wow'd me or made me feel like a kid again, where-as all of the other movies did so.

Captain America was OK but nothing spectacular, hardly worth getting excited about. With numerous problems.

Crom, who would have thought we'd agree over a Marvel Studios film? What issues did you have with it?

Crom, who would have thought we'd agree over a Marvel Studios film? who would have thought. What issues did you have with it? Pacing problems, villain nowhere near as well executed as it should have. Acting ranging from good to o.k to bad. Special effects in the generic ranged that did nothing to impress me. Fights with no soul.

Fights with no soul is a perfect way to describe how I felt about the action sequences. Hell, Thor vs Destroyer was over before you could blink 5 times, but I enjoyed that confrontation far more than any action sequence Cap provided.

agreed. Redskull was especially underwhelming considering how talented the actor playing him is. It felt like he was just cashing a check by phoning in typical villain lines.

What did you think of the Cap and Peggy scene where he was going down in the plane? I thought that was very well done and pretty emotional. Both times I saw it the whole theater was like .................
And to top it off I really liked the wake up scene, and "No it's just...I had a date." Feel bad for the guy.

It didn't strike me emotionally at all, to be honest. It's not like I'm heartless, because Ultimate Cap's WW2 demise in Ultimates (by Millar) really moved me.

The most emotional part for me was when he jumped on the grenade during basic training.

Really? I thought that was if anything a comedic scene because of Tommy Lee Jones's lines, lol. "It's based on courage." /throws grenade, guy he wants for SSS jumps away and Rogers dives on "He's still skinny!"

I know one guy in the theater thought the most emotional part was when Rogers took the serum and turned into Mr. Buff-bod. Some guy in the audience made a gasp. You know, the kind of gasp a girl makes when she is suddenly and powerfully aroused? Yeah....

Yeah, because the most emotional scene is clearly the one shown in every single trailer.
