Here is where we will discuss his titles and the stories therein.
What is going on in his current run, how did you feel about past stories, what is there looking into the future.

As for Superman, I've honestly only read "The Death of Superman" TPB when I was a kid. He's too... You know, freakin' powerful for my interest.

As for Superman, I've honestly only read "The Death of Superman" TPB when I was a kid. He's too... You know, freakin' powerful for my interest. I actually think they should have made him more powerful. So far, I can name several heroes that are more powerful than he is. I think as far as heroes go, he should be the end-all-be-all of physical power. That being said, I think his foes need to still be more powerful. I also did not like the idea that they made him less unique by bringing back the Kryptonians. I do not know how that panned out because I did not follow it.

The most recent Superman i've read is the New Krypton arc.I think I have more of a respect for Superman now than I did.I'm probably going to get back on Supes eventually..I want to read Action Comics from the beginning though.I've read some of it but since I lost my computer..i've lost the issues and the scans.

Current Superman is great. JMS can do a lot with characters he likes, and Superman seems to be one of them. I can't wait to see what stories he has in mind for the Man of Steel.

The last issue seemed to drop the ball a bit.

The last issue seemed to drop the ball a bit. I haven't read it yet.

Basically, JMS apparently decided the walk got boring and pulled a plot out of his ass, I'm not saying the issue was bad or anything, it just seemed a bit... weird.

Has anyone heard of Superman: Earth One? I am told it goes on the shelfs on 10/27.
The preview seems interesting but Superman seems a little gloomy.

I hope Superman: Earth One doesn't disappoint. It looks pretty cool. I like where Supes is right now. I mean, after New Krypton, it's nice for him to calm down.

Well, I'm not really keeping up with most comics right now, mostly random Vertigo titles, but Superman has always been a personal favorite.

Okay. Superman: Earth One is not a reboot. It is basically DC's answer the Marvel's Ultimate universe.
Repeat: Earth One is Ultimate DC.

I thought All Star was DC's ultimate universe? Huh, guess All Star Batman screwed up that little plan.

All Star Batman and Robin was one of the worst comics I've ever read. I even tried to keep an open mind about it.

He was the first comic character I encountered. Thus, I have a particular liking to him. However, over the years, I have learned that I like characters who have power along with wit and intelligence. He's not dumb, but I would like to see his intelligence to be shown.
