I know that some of you guys must do some exercise now and then so here is a thread to talk about your work out routines, whether it be at a gym or home, music that "pumps you up" etc as long as it stays on topic. To start this off: I have recently decided to start going to gym again 3 times a week with some boxing training once a week. Not going into detail yet, unless anyone is interested in the full routine which isnt anything special. BTW The Prodigy is usually my preferred choice of workout music.

I bike a lot. I alternate between 10 miles one day and 20 miles the next. Then whenever I do not feel like I did enough, I throw in my own aerobics routine.
Pushups, pull ups, squats, lunges, crunches and planks.

I do not engage in such pedestrian and primitive wastes of my precious time.

I used to go running quite a lot (got myself up to half marathon status!). But then I moved to Texas. The climate here is ill-suited for running outside at almost any time of year, and there are no gyms near my house, so I kinda gave up running. But, as of this semester, I have a three hour free period between my classes twice a week, so I've been using that time to do some weight training in my campus gym.

I cannot run to save my life, long or short distance its never been my thing. I think my endurance needs to be improved.

A taxi IS expensive. Jesus, I got stranded at a concert once (friends ditched early) so I call a cab because it was after midnight and the bus and trax already retired for the night. $90.00 damn dollars to drive home.

It all depends on what is going on, how much time I have, what season, and whatnot but in summer I love going for runs back in the woods or down my country roads. I play soccer with friends on tuesdays and thurdays, and Ultimate Frisbee on Fridays. I also try to weigh train regularly, if i can't get to a gym I'll do firewood or body weight exercises.
In winter as the weather is not conducive around here to outdoors recreation I play a lot of racquetball and do various weightlfting routines as well as riding some bike/elliptical. I also have practice 4 times a week for Ultimate Frisbee where we do some intense sprint work outs.
