Does it matter if I just get LFD2 and ignore the first one? Not one bit. It's a multiplayer focused game. You're just playing L4D 1 with upgraded graphics, new levels, more weapons, new enemies etc. |

The game (Dead Island) looks great! I hope it doesn't get censored, like L4D2 did here (in Australia).

Any chance there will be a 3rd person camera view?
I kinda get tired of the first person view sometimes (I'd play a few hours at a time in FO3 in 3rd person just to mix it up a bit)

I've played it a few times, and even the one on Wii...lol. Both are pretty decent, but havent tried number two yet.
Oh well, I'm sure I will buy Dead Island still. The potential is just too great to pass up.

In real life you can't see around you at all times, which makes things scary. So that's my guess as to why they chose not to add 3rd person view to the game. |

I did have a case of the creepy jumps crawling around in the subway tunnels with the ghouls in Fo3 using first person. They were a bit more comical when I could see them approaching. |
