Lol this was so much fun to watch. I must have seen that video 10 times already. Youtube keeps deleting it though.
In the original video, someone asked the bully if he was okay as he was stumbling about and he answered with a shaky voice, "Noooo!"
I think Zangief could have rocked the 2nd bully that came up to him too if he was pushed to fighting again.

I do not think the Zangief kid got suspended. His parents would have a shit over it. Besides, there is plenty of evidence all over the web to show it was self defense.

That was a stupid move on the fat kid's part. Throwing him down like that could have hurt him severely or even killed him. Punch him in the face next time instead of trying to a wrestler.
You know how funny it would have been if he had broke the bully's spine or neck? Not at all.

The kid clearly does not know how to fight. Neither of them do. I can already tell that fat kid is one of those guys that fears confrontation. He did what he did because he was afraid. It was not a stupid move at all. What was stupid was some bully thinking it was smart to get a bunch of his friends together and beat on a soft-hearted guy who is still 3 times his size.
If the kid ended up dying, that would be on him and his friends, not the fat kid.

If the kid ended up dying, that would be on him and his friends, not the fat kid. When you are afraid, you don't pick someone up and body slam them. You can not like confrontation, but still know how to fight. Even if you don't, it's not hard to swing your fist. With his size advantage, you could hit him 1 or 2 times and the bully would be done. He could have held him down and hit him. BUT, he doesn't do that. He charges the bully and body slams him, followed by a walk of confidence. Seems like he meant to body slam him on the concrete, which is stupid. Even if you are bullied, body slamming someone on the concrete is not a good way of handling it. |

You cannot expect children to know how to fight man.
He also was not giving any swag. He left because bully two wanted to talk shit.
How many fights have you been in? Because I get the impression not that many.

If the fat kid had wanted to fight, he would have swung after the first sock to the face. He didn't. This is exactly what you see when fear turns to rage. I have seen it plenty of times.

Because I get the impression not that many. Well in my experience (having been jumped several times by mutiple people each time), body slamming is not the first thing that comes to mind. Notice, I do not like fighting and have never been trained. I'm also 18 as of 2 days ago. Your first reaction is too swing on them. if they hit you, you want to hit them back, but harder. Not body slam them on their head. Not saying that the other kid wasn't talking crap, but the victim looked pretty confident walking away, like he was proud of himself. He shouldn't be and neither should anyone else. Not trying to defend the bully, as he got what was coming to him. I just don't think it was handled the best way by the fat kid. I think that is a good way to be guillty all your life from putting a kid in a wheelchair or killing them. I won't say the fat kid is in the clear. |

Well I used to get bullied constantly as a kid (if you know my last name, you know why) before and after I learned how to fight. Swinging at them is not the first reaction to a frightened, untrained child fighter. It is to grab them, choke, throw, etc.
You mistake confidence with adrenaline. Someone stopped further aggression against the fat kid so he had his window of opportunity to leave the fight and took it. I would bet you actual money that the kid got somewhere away from prying eyes and cried for what they made him do. You can read a lot about a person (especially this one) before the fight actually happens.
These things happen in less than a few seconds as the video shows. You do not have time to come up with a safe and effective plan. You do what you can to get out of a spot that is causing you hurt.
I would not have felt the least bit guilty if I paralyzed anyone that was bullying me. Ever. They put him in a situation where he was forced (yes he was forced) to defend himself. Since he is clearly untrained, he did what was instinctual, to use his strength.
